Lets finally talk about it…

Two (UConn, Colorado), same as VT (NC State x2). I apologize if that came across as a slight to Tech's résumé, that was not my intention. I was trying to be honest and answer a question. NC State's overall résumé is slightly better at the moment because of its non-conference wins, but that doesn't mean Tech's won't be better at the end when it matters, especially if it keeps winning like it is. I think fans put too much stock into what everything looks like now when there are a potential seven games left to bolster a résumé before selection Sunday.

Hate to be frank, but look at the non-conference wins. NC State has three wins over NCAA Tournament teams, including two of the best in the country: UConn, Colorado and Vanderbilt (bubble). Tech’s best non-conference win is… Kansas, who is one of the last teams in.
