@MrIanMacIntyre Come to mastodon! Confusing and a smaller scale, but there is no algorithm. You only see who you follow in the order that they posted. Between that and aggressive filtering and blocking options, it’s wonderful!

@rawsignalgroup Great newsletter This week! I am someone who thinks meetings are useful. What I think sometimes goes unsaid is that too many meetings are often just a symptom of too much stuff going on. Doing stuff begets meetings, no way around it. The real trick is saying no.

I should say I’m on the fence intellectually. Emotionally, I am glad I have another piece of merch from the Siracusa Podcast Universe that is much easier to get than a chicken hat.

Okay, so after hearing @hotdogsladies and @siracusa talk about SwitchGlass for an hour, I caved and purchased.

@genmon It would be even cooler with AR glasses. Imagine the blocks actually floating, and seeing the shells ricochet around.

@genmon The fanboost idea is very adjacent to an idea I’ve long had about making real life Mario Kart. So you could run over little question mark blocks that grant your car a mushroom or shell. Then you use those to either give your kart a boost or slow down someone else’s kart.
