I’ve had abuse hurled at me all day from faceless accounts…..death threats, vile comments about my children that have really upset me, and some of the most disgusting things you could imagine. All because I stand up for traditional, hard-working, family values. Nearly every message has come from an anonymous profile with no name, no face, and no courage.
Let me be crystal clear: I am not your enemy. I champion decent, honest people who graft hard, love their families, and are proud of where they come from. If that offends you, it says more about you than it does about me.
And let’s be honest…..nearly every one of these attacks has come from people on the left…why?!?. The same people trying to paint me as something I’m not. I’m not racist. I’m not far right. I’m not anything you’re trying to label me. I’m just a normal man who loves his family and this country.
But enough is enough. If any of you truly mean the threats you’re throwing around, don’t hide behind a screen. Come and say it to my face. I know you wouldn’t, but let’s see if anyone has a backbone.
I’m upset, I’m angry, and I’m sick to death of being treated like the villain by people who shout about tolerance and be be kind but show none to anyone who doesn’t agree with every word they say.
So tonight, I’m logging off. I’m going to spend time with my beautiful family after a long day at work. I’ll be back tomorrow, spreading the positive vibes and love like I always do.
God bless you. God bless this country. And God bless anyone out there just giving it a go.
And remember….. tough times don’t last but tough people do.
Bosh❤️

@DeclanLeePR Absolute disgrace. A new low even for the GAA
English

GAA+ has plenty of uses early in the Championship to make more games available to those who want to pay.
Be that big games too, to help grow the platform.
However, the All-Ireland Championship Quarter Finals should NEVER be behind a paywall.
That’s just greed. #GAA

@getoffthehill It’s usually Sunday for Kerry I was thinking! Thanks Barry. Dubs Saturday evening?

"You have to stay a season ahead of your sons"
Great message in this video.
The author gives some actionable advice on building discipline, trustworthiness and integrity in our sons
But I like the first line absent any of the subsequent context:
"You have to stay a season ahead of your sons"
It serves as a useful slogan for incentivizing the growth-focused behavior we're required to embody as dads
Simple example:
I've never been very handy. Nobody in my family prioritized that set of skills, so I didn't grow up around it.
As a result I've always been envious of guys who can just sit down and build a chair with no plans, or install a light fixture faster than I can untangle the drill cord, etc.
And about 8 months ago my oldest son started getting really interested in tools. He started asking if we could do simple projects at home together.
So I was left with two options. Remain ignorant and live life with zero handy skills. Or figure out how to get good enough to teach my son the basics....in other words: stay a season ahead.
Fast forward to more recently and we installed a complicated (for me and my 4 year old anyway) gate at the base of our stairs.
I doubt I'll ever build a barn with my bare hands. But I can be sure I won't leave my son wishing I'd taught him more stuff.
(PS If you know the original poster, tag them below and I'll repost it)

@dublin_damo The Gravediggers used to serve their porter & whiskey through the back cemetery railing in ceramic jars, which coined the phrase, 'going for a jar'.

@ailbeoreilly We were diabolical. We now make Ulster football look exciting. Cork played well in fairness.

@BBCSportWales Terrorist sympathiser teaching his kids to hate, and many on here think that’s ok. Do you think he’ll teach his kids that his beloved ra killed more Catholics than any other group? 🤔

@getoffthehill It's becoming unwatchable really at times. It's a simple game!
English

@getoffthehill Kerry are the same. Totally allergic to kicking the ball into the forwards. How can you have inside forwards of the quality of Dublin and Kerry and not give them the ball?? Makes no sense to me.
English

Despite the 16 point victory yesterday, a better opposition could’ve been out the gate by half time.
Struggled on the kickouts & that old chestnut of not letting the ball into the full forward line was back.
Leinster lethargy maybe ?
