WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK IS GOING ON IN BRITAIN?! 😡
A Wetherspoons manager in Braintree has just been caught on camera openly refusing to serve customers who support Reform UK. “I’m deciding that”, he smugly tells punters.
Refusing service over politics?! In a bloody pub?!
Reform UK is currently the biggest party in the country, leading the polls at 25-28%, favourites to win the next election.
These aren’t some fringe weirdos, they’re ordinary, hard-working Brits. The exact salt-of-the-earth customers who pack out Wetherspoons every week, keep the pints flowing and the lights on.
Without them, half these pubs would be broke. And some snotty little bar manager thinks he can play political gatekeeper? F*ck off!
That’s not how Britain works. You don’t get to ban paying customers because of who they vote for.
If you can’t handle serving people with different views, don’t work with the public. Simple as.
Tim Martin, sort this out and fire him immediately. This is a disgrace.

@YorkCityFC Your player should be arrested, imprisoned, and banned for life from football.
His violent thuggery disgraced himself, your club, the National League, and the English game.

York City Football Club would like to make the following comment regarding one of our players in the aftermath of our last-minute goal at Rochdale.
The ending to Saturday’s game at Rochdale has, understandably, been seen around the world and held up as an example of what is so special about our game. The fans played a huge part in that, and for all those in the stadium, it was a unique emotional rollercoaster that will never be forgotten.
Given that emotion and the stakes involved, we appreciate the enormous challenges that came with policing and securing a game of such obvious importance. In front of a passionate, sell-out crowd, those challenges became even more significant when the game concluded in the way that it did.
The safety of players, staff, officials, and fans must always be the priority, and it is important to recognise all those in the stadium who worked to ensure that was the case.
It will be important in the coming days for there to be a proper reflection and assessment of the circumstances around the end of the game, what happened and what can be learned. As a club, we are committed to assisting with any review, and we will support all our players and staff in contributing to this.
YCFC will be supporting Hiram through all proceedings.

@yorksport @RachaelMaskell literally the only city in the country who can't do this for their football team. Have a word.

@CuthbertsonPhil @sameoldcitypod Sorry but this is sensational 🤣
Paid actors wouldn't be able to pull that off with all the emotions going on around them.
On the pitch at half time please @YorkCityFC

@sameoldcitypod But guess what I’m a York city fan and I’ve just bought my first season ticket. Oscar’s medal for acting in the post Champions get innnn

Through all the heartbreak, elation and emotion. We want to take this opportunity to have a word on our opponents, Rochdale, and commend their incredible season.
We have both shared the greatest title race in English football history. Forever a memory that we will always be a part of.
We wish them the very best of luck in the play-offs ❤️💙

@michelle_h1011 @JamTarts If you're so bored of losing to Hearts support another team then! 😅 Nothing Hibs will help you with in that scenario.
English

@DeadStarLegacy @YorkCityFC "Afraid"
Game ain't getting replayed, mate 🤣
English

@YorkCityFC You are afraid it will show the ball not over the line. 😂
English

We’d love to bring you some GoPro footage from behind the goal but unfortunately, a Rochdale fan nabbed our GoPro.
Enjoy the GoPro we hope it makes you very happy 😔

I keep having to watch this again and again. Does Jim McNulty go on the pitch thinking it's the final whistle and his side have won only to realise City have equalised? #ycfc

@morganzwynne @thecrescent78 Found another brief shot of your mask slipping 😂
English

@Hulmey92 @DAZN_NationalLg You've answered your own question surely?
York scored 1 minute and 20 seconds after the game kicked off again...
English

@DAZN_NationalLg As a neutral. Why did they play so long after the goal? There was a minute left and they usually allow 30 seconds for a goal / celebration. Poor officiating again.
Unbelievable scenes though
English

@ACliter1875 @JamTarts So Hibs are in a better position than Hearts because they have no hope and are irrelevant? Thought sport was about being involved in big moments and competing, whatever the outcome.
Clearly I'm wrong.
English

@JamTarts It’s glorious because this is the hope that will absolutely come crashing down on you in a few weeks time, bookmark it ya puddle drinking bastards 🇳🇬
English

As we wake up this Sunday morning let us celebrate God, and this absolute hero ❤️
What a performance 🥲 #YCFC
