Over 80% of Welsh people do not speak Welsh. Save for obvious exemptions like translators, it should be illegal for any public sector job in Wales to be open only to Welsh speakers.

The job in question is an Application Operations Engineer. Why are Welsh speakers given an advantage? Job criteria like this should be banned in the public sector. 80% of Welsh people don’t speak Welsh. They should not be discriminated against.
