And it’s not an issue of crediting 3D modelers, cause if AI artists credited the artists style they stole it would mean nothing. For 3D you could make the argument that there’s lighting, posing, but that’s the easiest part of the process. The model quality will make or break it.

Regarding the ethics of AI in work: using an AI model that’s trained on your own work is more ethical than downloading someone else’s 3D model and using it without editing anything. Theres no stealing in how I use AI. But people will throw 3D models around no problem.

@AoLun_Art I present it as an option but generally I prefer to use it now, and I’m pretty upfront about it

@tompiart Does this also apply to commissioned artworks for clients?

Just an update on my workflow, I have begun to integrate AI into my workflow using models **trained on my own work.** Still, I get this can bother some people and I get that. Final outputs still require a complete paint over. That is all

@AoLun_Art The less time I can spend time staring at porn the better lol, it’s really not healthy, as much as people might argue it’s fine, for me it isn’t. Just helps me finish the work quicker

@I_Nobabeeno 99.9% of the time, there is a reference of the exact pose you’re looking for online somewhere

@tompiart Gotcha gotcha. I use Clip Studio for my stuff so I'm not familiar with Photoshop

@I_Nobabeeno I typically draw my own poses first by looking at reference online, also photoshopping multiple poses together can kinda help if it’s super specific but it’s rare that I do that

@tompiart Do you find it helps with getting a solid pose ready to go rather than trying to search online for it? I sometimes use different online sources to find my poses but it can be hard sometimes
