Like so many, I believe President Trump deserved the Nobel Peace Prize a long time ago.   ✅ The Abraham Accords ✅ Negotiating an end to the conflicts between Rwanda and Congo, Azerbaijan and Armenia etc. ✅ And now, securing what will hopefully be the release of hostages and a permanent ceasefire between Israel and Hamas   However, having said that, I believe Venezuela opposition leader Maria Corina Machado is a deserving recipient. She was very gracious to dedicate this award to President Trump. She and her allies have stood up to Maduro’s oppression and advocated for a new beginning in Venezuela.    Additionally, I am very pleased that President Trump is being forceful against Maduro’s narco-terrorist state. In order to support President Trump’s efforts, I’ll be working on legislation to declare Venezuela a State Sponsor of Terrorism under U.S. law. Venezuela under Maduro is a narco-terrorist state that directly threatens the security and wellbeing of the United States. It’s long past time for this illegitimate regime to come to an end. President Trump is the right man at the right time to deal with this threat.
