Whatever that metal prices are rising, which will be unsustainable. Higher prices will bring industry wise slow down. Well everything is connected. After certain point, i expect big slowdown in capex and fall in market. Current market run up will brust in next qtr.

India’s Optical Fibre story is shaping into a clear duopoly 📡 🔹 Sterlite Tech Ltd. → 34M fkm capacity 🔹 HFCL → scaling to 42.36M fkm 👉 Together control ~70% of the industry What stands out: • Aggressive capacity expansion • Strong capex pipeline ($30M+ annually) • Rising demand from 5G, broadband & digital infra Meanwhile, peers like Finolex Cables & Birla Cables are investing—but still far behind in scale. 👉 Optical Fibre is becoming a high-entry-barrier, scale-driven industry Big capacity = Bigger market share = Stronger pricing power 📈

I expect slower release of funds to states, centre projects due to widening deficit and higher cost. All PSUs except defence, BSNL related exposure Cos, Railway related exposure Cos. Indias growth to be lower & near by 6 % this year. I most out-beat on AI, power & defence.

In the market, how retailers lost big money that they earned from covid times. They invested in gov capex companies such as railway, telecom or PLI. Now they lost more and will lose more. Expect gov capex to be slow or delayed. Stay away from railway, BSNL, electronics.

🚨 Telecom Spending Boom = Next Big Opportunity? 📡🇮🇳 Govt is pumping ₹73,990 Cr (+40% YoY) into Telecom & Digital Infra — this is where smart money is flowing 👇 🔹 BSNL 4G/5G Rollout → TEJASNET | HFCL | ITI | SUYOG 🔹 BharatNet Fiber Expansion (₹65K Cr) → HFCL | STLTECH | VINDHYATEL | ITI 🔹 5G Towers & Infra Push → HFCL | TEJASNET | SUYOG 🔹 Data Centres + Semicon Mission → STLTECH | OPTIEMUS | HFCL 📊 Who’s leading the pack? 🥇 HFCL (maximum exposure across segments) 🥈 TEJASNET 🥉 STLTECH 💡 Simple Insight: Where govt spends → sectors outperform → stocks follow 📈 Missed Power / Railways rally? 👉 Telecom infra could be the NEXT big theme 🚀 #TelecomSpending #StockMarketIndia #InvestSmart #Multibagger #5G

India’s optical fiber story is just getting started 🚀 • Industry to grow at ~12% CAGR (FY25–32) • Exports: $350M → $1B by 2030 • Global share: <5% → ~15% And the structure is tightening: ➡️ HFCL + STL control ~70% of the market 📊 Backed by: • AI & data center boom • Rising global demand • Aggressive capacity expansion Big takeaway: India is moving from a domestic player → global export hub in fiber 🌍

While glass preform shortage across the globe. #stltech has one of the worlds biggest plant in India. Why share is rising, retailers should know. It can produce eq 50 Mn fiber KM. Almost entire India demand.

Last year fujikura was 400 %. Retailer believes STL is significant up and concerned about valuations. While stl is highly undervalued, they will achieve 12-15 EPS in FY 27. They will command 50 PE. Some could not understand the real moat.

The only thing #stltech momentum is carrying a little stretch to #hfcl People are getting carried away that #hfcl may have same benefits. In STL every sell is absorbed.

Some jokers need to understand that a single glass preform plant will take 2.5-3 years to get online. Till than cost will haunt only fiber cable manufacturers.

@Shashank1171 HFCL looks cheap compared to Sterlite. Sterlite messed up opportunities before, so hopefully they focus on reducing debt this time and actually capitalize on the current cycle.

There is a lot of confusion among investors as in which company is better #STLTECH or #HFCL. Here's a thinking framework. Defence is a genuine 5 yr long moat HFCL enjoys that would fetch them a higher terminal value. But STL will have better price appreciation in current cycle.
