@cricketcelt i have no doubt they would of had people interested in the role in the set up. The appointment is very underwhelming though and i feel certain managers with more experience wouldn’t of liked the “technical board” set up. Hence the reason we’re quite the way down the list imo.

@tomscottt97 From what I've heard they had someone else in place and were ready to announce last weekend but suddenly changed their mind. So I don't think the long wait is necessarily because they were struggling to fill the role in this set up, but I do agree the optics of it are very poor.
