In Web3, opportunities come fast and loud. Every day, a new project promises innovation, massive returns, and a chance to be “early.” They show up polished, clean websites, active communities, confident roadmaps. Like birds searching for shelter, they all look appealing at first glance. But not every bird comes to build, some come to take, and leave nothing behind.
Your abode in this space is more than just a wallet. It is your capital, your attention, your trust, and your time. And once you allow something into that space, you are giving it permission to affect you, positively or negatively. That is why access should never be given lightly.
The truth is, many of the losses people experience in Web3 are not because the red flags were invisible. They were seen, but ignored. The excitement of potential profits, the pressure of missing out, and the noise of hype often drown out caution.
