Proof arrived. Missing two chapter markers. New layout necessary. Book is actually available now on Amazon, but without chapter markers rambles from Chapter 10 on page 208 to next chapter marker on page 514. Nothing is missing from the story. amazon.com/dp/B0GV487PM6

@cal_millar If you would like the star ones I found I can email them to you of course
English

@tonyd1979 Thank you for letting me know about the Star articles. That was a month after I joined the staff. I don't have direct access to the Star files, but will check the next time I am in Toronto or near a library which has computer access.
English

@tonyd1979 The Sun moved offices from King Street East to Bloor Street East when they were taken over by PostMedia. Some files went into storage near Barrie and some were when a water pipe burst.
English

@cal_millar Actually I found at least a couple fairly robust articles with your name on them printed in the star in May of 83, it appears maybe you co authored them with other reporters. You say you also wrote about it in the sun? I am not sure what you mean by The Sun moved?
English

@tonyd1979 I recall doing an article. Star files are comprehensive but something happened to Sun files when they moved. I was at the Sun when I wrote the first story on the murder and had a clipping, but no follow up information. I went to the Star in 1983 and didn't do anything further.
English

@cal_millar I thought you only wrote for the star and you had covered both stories there. My mistake I suppose. I thought I recalled you doing a significant follow up digitally more recently on the McIntyre case as well but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore
English

@cal_millar Files from the Toronto Sun have gone missing? I’m not sure about the relevance? You mean files about McIntyre or the ‘Barrie case’ which I assume you refer to the murder of Lee Di Palma. You covered wrote about them in The Star if I am not mistaken?
English

@tonyd1979 I made mention of Corporal McIntyre and meeting him on a drug sweep in Orangeville prior to his murder in April 1984. I didn't include the Barrie case in the book. Sadly some files from the Toronto Sun have gone missing.
English

@cal_millar Those are some big events for sure. Did you include any of your coverage about the slayings of OPP officer McIntyre or Lee Marie Di Palma?
English

@tonyd1979 Fire in Puerto Rico which killed 96; Beatles visit to Toronto; 911; Organized Crime hearings; Miami; G7 in Toronto; Edmonton tornado; sinking of sailing vessel off Bermuda and many other events I covered through the years.
