Just finished Shut That Door by @tonynicholson52 about Larry Grayson. A wonderful, touching book with some amazing stories. There’s something magical about those old pros, who learned their craft in clubs and small theatres.

@tonynicholson52 This sounds fascinating. I really enjoy cultural history. It's interesting, though, how little popular magazines of the time mentioned television. I did a project of my own last year looking at Christmas magazines through the ages and TV was mentioned surprisingly infrequently.

Loved this book. I’ve known Laurie Mansfield for years and only wish he’d been my agent when I had my crack at television. @tonynicholson52 has done a fantastic job — highly recommended and I can’t wait to read more.
