BREAKING: South Carolina and North Carolina have mutually agreed to cancel their Home-and-Home series for the 2028 and 2029 seasons, per @GamecocksOnline The Gamecocks were set to face the Tar Heels in Williams-Brice in 2028, and then head to Chapel Hill in 2029. USC also announced that they have added Bowling Green to their 2028 schedule. It will be their first time playing each other in football. This is the 4th ACC Series dropped by the Gamecocks and ACC teams amidst the newly implemented 9-Game SEC schedule with series vs Miami (26/27), NC State (30/31) and Virginia Tech (34/35) also being mutually cancelled.
