Way to manage your GMB listings, @OfficeMax. Appreciate driving out of my way to the closest store, only to find out I should have gone a different way out of my way to actually get what I need. Guess Amazon gets more of my business.

And there are pictures on the profile of the location with no sign, and the signs on the door informing of the closing dating back three weeks at least. So…big fail by @OfficeMax @ @GoogleMyBiz I guess. But maybe they don’t monitor their Twitter accounts any more either.

I submitted a suggested edit to both the main & copy service location GMB profiles on Friday. Haven’t heard back that they were accepted yet, but did notice that the hours on the store are now updated to Closed M-F, still “open” on the weekend.

@wilreynolds I’ll never forget the day back in 2003 when our Google Ad Sales Rep visited our office and promised us “Google will never have more than two ads at the top of the page.”

Middle of page ads = example of why I believe Google is in trouble. At some point saturating a page w/ ads isn't innovation, it's bottom feeding. It buys them revenue & some time to figure the future out. This, to me, likely only hastens people seeking other alternatives.

Frustrating that you make an 8:30am appt at the car dealership a week ago and when you check in (on time) they let you know they’ll have an update in about 3 hours. My office for the day.

Got a friend request for the 4-5th time in the last 2 yrs from a friend who died ‘21. I report them as impersonating each time. @facebook response: we’ll follow up with your friend directly once we’ve reviewed the account. It’s like they don’t even care about scams & spam.

Legit question…are they still called tweets if the platform isn’t Twitter any more? Was referencing having “tweeted” something out, and wonder if I actually “x’d” it out, which doesn’t sound right… I mean, the button still says Tweet…but will that eventually say X?

Dishwasher broke Friday. Washing dishes all weekend was a buzzkill. Repair service showed up this morning, fixed it and proceeded to give us a masterclass on dishwashers. The marketer in me just heard 50 blog post ideas. 🤣🤣🤣

Just got an invitation for a meeting with a @GoogleAds rep for an account that hasn’t been active since Q1 2021, and is currently Cancelled. Tempted to schedule a call to see if they have suggestions beyond reactivating the account…
