A MIT professor gave a 1-hour lecture in 2019 that has 18 million views. He died 5 months after recording it. It was his final gift to the world. Patrick Winston taught at MIT for 50 years. The smartest engineers on earth sat in his classroom. And he spent his last lecture teaching them the one skill their degrees never covered. How to speak. 15 lessons that will change how you communicate forever: Never open with a joke. Your audience is not ready to laugh yet. Open with a promise of what they will know by the end. Your ideas are like your children. You are too close to them. What is obvious to you is invisible to everyone else. Explain the obvious. The 5-minute rule: the first 5 minutes of any talk determine whether people will listen for the next 55. Spend more time on your opening than anything else. Repeat your most important idea 3 times in 3 different ways. Once is never enough. Build a fence around your idea. Tell people what it is NOT before you tell them what it IS. Verbal punctuation. Pause. Let the idea land before moving to the next one. Ask questions nobody will answer. Then wait 7 seconds. The silence is not awkward. It is processing. Never read your slides. Your audience can read. They cannot listen and read simultaneously. Use the board not the slides. Writing forces you to slow down. Slowing down forces clarity. Inspire before you inform. Nobody learns from someone they are not inspired by. End with a contribution not a summary. Tell them what you gave them. Not what you said. Never say thank you at the end. It is weak. End with something that lands. Stories make ideas stick. Data makes ideas understood. You need both. In that order. The quality of your communication determines the quality of your ideas in the eyes of the world. Not the ideas themselves. Practice is not preparation. Practice IS the skill. Patrick Winston understood something most people spend their entire careers missing. Your ideas are only as powerful as your ability to transfer them into someone else's mind. You can be the smartest person in the room and be completely invisible. Or you can master communication and make average ideas feel like breakthroughs. He chose to spend his last lecture teaching this. Watch it tonight. Bookmark this first. Follow @cyrilXBT for more lessons from the people who built the future.

Almost 85% of day traders lose money And if you are one of them...bookmark this post I never had a "mentor" and most of what i know is self taught, by making countless mistakes and often learning expensive lessons. If i could go back, this is exactly what i would tell myself - Less is more Over trading might be the biggest reason why most ppl lose money here. You log in every day in this platform and see everyone making money, you feel fomo and immediately open some positions, purely based on hope - you will end up losing 100% of the times. - "No trade" is a trade Learn to do nothing and be happy with it. Even if that means not having a positions for weeks or even months. There are hundreds of opportunities every week, you will miss almost all of them....and thats actually okey, learn to accept this. All you need is just few good opportunities per year - Your size is not size CT gives you the false illusion that everyone here trades millions of dollars and thats totally normal. You end up over sizing positions and putting yourself in a corner, and once again you rely on hope while looking at your stop loss. I often scale in and out of positions, leaving always some room to add more. Crypto is an ultra volatile market, you really don't need big size to make huge gains. Start with small positions, build a track record, find consistency and only after you can increase your size - Narrow your focus I think almost 90% of my PnL this year comes from 3 coins and i know some traders (with 8+ figs port) only focusing on btc and literally never touching alts. Narrowing your focus might be one of the most under rated alpha. Focus on fewer tickers and make sure to know everything about it. Everything else is just noise - Find Balance In every trade you compete with the rest of the world, but more importantly, you are competing with yourself. There is a side of you that is emotional and suffers from addictions, a side of you that is lazy and lacks discipline. You cant let that side of you prevail. You need to find balance and peace of mind. This is probably the hardest part for me and even now, i'm constantly fighting with it. - Pay yourself Making money is a lot easier than what people think, but keeping them...thats where almost everyone fails. I see a lot of Degens taking bigger and bigger risks as their port grows larger, when in reality...you should do the exact opposite. Pay yourself regularly. Its only profit when the money is in your bank account Last, but not least, stop following fake gurus in this platform. Larps trading on Bybit demo accounts and selling paid groups. I can assure you, if anyone has an edge in the market, they will never sell it to you nor make a paid group. If their feed is only PnL screenshots...mute them or block them Find a small group of degens that are willing to grind and learn together with you. Focus on quality traders that are actually providing value and sharing their ideas instead of chasing clout (Leave a comment if you have more suggestions, you might help someone out there)

Degens selling $ASTER because it’s red don’t understand the game. It’s buy the red, sell the green, not the other way around. $ASTER is only 35 days old, and there are still many catalysts to come: - Buybacks - Burns - New listings - Utility expansion Do you understand?

You guys keep asking me about "Aster" like you have no conviction of your own or any plans, just blindly tailing people online [it's ok I guess, I'm a quant] But here you go, super easy - first real test of support White box is where you can build a position aiming for new highs [I think anything under 2 dollar is still a nice buy for a good swing when CZ reinitiates crime mode] Otherwise stop leverage trading like morons and giving back all your money from the crazy run up it had Inval? Below 1 dollar, send CZ back to prison Thank you for reading, no more spam now ty 👀

We Judge People for Wasting Money....But Not for Wasting Time The other day I saw someone on social media throwing money around on absurd, meaningless things. The comments tore him apart. Everyone piled on....calling him reckless, stupid, a clown with too much cash and no sense of value. And to be honest, I agreed. The way he treated money was idiotic. But then a strange thought hit me. All of us were so quick to judge this man for throwing away value. But here we are, spending hours on this app, scrolling through the comments, throwing away something far more valuable than money. Time. And I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that since. When people waste money, we have a visceral reaction. It bothers us. It feels offensive, even if it has nothing to do with us. But when people waste time....no one cares. No one flinches. No one comments. Why is that? Is it because time can’t be transferred? Because I can’t spend your time and you can’t spend mine, we don’t care if others burn it? That made some sense at first. But then it didn’t. Because the logic falls apart when you look closer. Most people don’t want money for the sake of money. They want what money buys. And the most sought-after thing it buys isn’t cars or watches or houses....it’s freedom. It’s space. It’s being able to wake up when you want, say no to things you hate, and live on your own terms. What we’re really after is time. Wealth, at its core, is the ability to reclaim time. You don’t want to be rich so you can work more. You want to be rich so you can stop trading your hours for someone else’s priorities. The whole point of money is to buy back time. So if time is what we’re truly trying to acquire, then wasting time is no different than setting fire to your wealth before you even earn it. The thing is: money feels real. You can see the numbers go up and down. You can hold it. Track it. Measure it. Time is silent. It passes invisibly. It never announces itself, and once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. That’s what makes it so dangerously easy to waste. No one is going to pay you to spend time with your kids. No one will compensate you for showing up for your partner. You’ll never get paid to take care of your health, rest your mind, or go for a long walk. But those are the moments wealth is supposed to protect. We’ve got it backward. We think we create wealth by spending our time to earn money. But real wealth begins when you start spending your money to create time. And yet, here we are: scrolling, watching, judging, laughing at someone for throwing away cash, while throwing away the one thing we can never get back. Maybe the real stupidity isn’t wasting money. Maybe it’s not knowing what time is worth.

Summary of @chameleon_jeff's key points on Steady Lads: - Markets still very active, traders not quiet til much later in a downturn - % of Binance/Bybit volume are primary internal metrics, but don't tell the full story - most people think they're just building an exchange, but it's a lot bigger than that & the perp DEX is just the 1st building block - HLP was a very intentional decision early on to make market making more transparent & community-owned vs the landscape of Alameda & other insider strategies at the time - Hyperliquid is much more decentralized than critics give it credit for, has had 16 validators (who you can talk to) since December - Doesn't harbor ill will toward CEXes for listing JELLYJELLY on perps, says he wouldn't have done it personally "but business is business" - Doesn't view Hyperliquid as a direct CEX competitor, think CEXes & DeFi should co-exist, & Hyperliquid is building how a significant portion of finance should operate on-chain, the original vision of DeFi - Lots of misunderstandings around HyperEVM as a separate chain when it's really one & the same chain as the exchange (HyperCore) - The purpose of HyperEVM is to make HyperCore programmable, because the most valuable things in finance don't already live on Hyperliquid - Letting people build things themselves is the way to scale (especially aligned with the ethos of crypto), the exception is infra (including infra traditionally viewed as "apps") - There's no other chain you can build on to access DeFi power users transacting billions of dollars a day, & fully integrated with a tier-1 exchange - Tokenized equities, commodities, & forex will all exist on Hyperliquid & there's plenty of talent already building on Hyperliquid to do it - Admits they've been entirely focused on building & poor at comms but that lets others shape your narratives for you - There's so much to build, no point in fighting about drama or stupid takes on twitter - Very short sighted to think in terms of price - in a post Bitcoin era, $HYPE's genesis distribution is as close as we've seen to Bitcoin but being "generous" to users has its cost (large airdrops with 0 cost basis) - Long-term, if a large portion of finance moves onchain, there will be a lot more value accruing than exists in crypto today - On memecoins: values freedom of expression On stablecoins: - the edge is in the real-world (banks, compliance, etc), but one of the strengths of HyperEVM is that it'll allow native stablecoins (including yield-bearing) - Hyperliquid as a platform should be neutral in terms of which stablecoins can be used as collateral (& other features), but very opinionated as to how it makes that possible

Hyper Foundation@HyperFND

The HyperEVM is live. This is a major step toward the vision of housing all finance by bringing general-purpose programmability to Hyperliquid’s performant financial system. The initial mainnet release of the HyperEVM includes: 1. HyperEVM blocks built as part of L1 execution, inheriting all security from HyperBFT consensus. 2. Spot transfers between native spot HYPE and HyperEVM HYPE. As a reminder, HYPE is the native gas token on the HyperEVM. 3. A canonical WHYPE system contract deployed at 0x555...5 for defi applications. The source code can be found at hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-do… Effective immediately, the bug bounty program will pay mainnet bounty amounts for reports within the scope of the points above. See hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-do… for details. For API and wallet users: the mainnet HyperEVM has chain ID 999. A JSON-RPC server for the mainnet HyperEVM is hosted at rpc.hyperliquid.xyz/evm. Node operators and other builders are encouraged to host their own RPC servers. Tooling and analytics around mainnet HyperEVM may not be polished on day one. However, there are many talented builders working to solve these developer pain points. To help with these efforts, raw HyperEVM block data is streamed realtime to S3 so that running a node is not required to index the HyperEVM. More technical details can be found here: hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-do… General ERC20 native transfers and precompiles will be enabled on a future network upgrade. Any ongoing feedback for these features on testnet is greatly appreciated. While these features are implemented on testnet, the mainnet releases are staggered for minimal disruption to existing users on the L1. The HyperEVM is composable with the L1 state while not affecting the low latency trading experience of existing users. Thank you to all the builders and users who have shared feedback on testnet so far. It will be exciting to see new applications leveraging and building upon the existing onchain financial system of Hyperliquid.

As I watch (CT) scammers rug millions from newcomers by deploying and shilling dozens of "funny" meme coins, I can only RT this take and add a warning: 95% of influencers are out to get you. They will lie. They will deceive. They will steal your money. Don't play their game.
Chadwick@cdwk0

Airdrop farming is the most, if not single, righteous thing to do in this shady industry. There's no P&Ding, no ref-link shilling, no coordinated fake narrative creation, no psyops, no nothing. Just some lads getting paid to beta test and drive activity & fees. Feels good.
