@torchapp I don’t know you, but as an AR fan, I am an admirer of what you are doing. AR is just not yet a consumer tech, outside of Snap, Pokémon, and IKEA, and you are way ahead of your time. What you’ve done will inspire many in the future and define the landscape of this technology.

As some of you have already seen, we've started informing folks Torch service will be discontinued as of September 1, 2020. You can read the announcement on our site (torch.app).

The cat, CC BY Kaqui, can be found on @Sketchfab and perfectly integrates with the playable media tools in @torchapp. This cat has 14 animations that can be started and stopped in relation to other objects and interactions in the AR scenes. sketchfab.com/3d-models/low-…

Luckily I could quickly respond by showing the origin at tail height. It’s easy to lift the cat using two fingers in order to put her on the right plane and get some shadows. We share @torchapp projects with students to keep connected online. It’s as easy as sharing Google docs.
