Yuji vs denji fan animation. This is my part of the Collab. Thank you @thigasart55 for doing this collab. I learned a lot of things from this.

makima progress: Halfway through inbetweening, but its taking longer than expected! All the small inconsistencies in the model only became noticeable once I witnessed the key poses "tween" into one another. I'm trying not to get too caught up in that though.

progress on the makima exercise- added camera movement to make the shot more interesting staying on model is HARDER than i thought.

Alabasta thoughts so far: (they are currently going into the casino!!) Again, absolutely love the aesthetics of this show so far. I'll really be watching and say "I gotta screenshot that" lol What did Ace give Luffy? A blank piece of paper for what? 🤔 How will Vivi convince everyone that Cobra is actually innocent and Crocodile has been behind everything? Will the people just believe her because she's the princess? (Unless I missed something on this) The fact that EVERYONE is now at Alabasta at the same time (Straw Hats, Navy, Baroque Works, Rebellion) is CRAZY!! I feel like its about to get insane Mr 1 had some aura. RIP Mr 3 even tho he sucked so screw him 🕯️🐊 How will the rebellion play into everything since they think Cobra is the bad guy as well. Vivi could surely convince her old friend Zoro's first weakness came out with the blue haired Navy girl (blanking on her name). I still think its his childhood friend somehow 🤨 Time for Crocodile to get his shit rocked 🗣️🗣️ Will update tomorrow!

I am currently 70 episodes into my first watch of One Piece… here are my current thoughts overall (big post) All I’ve ever heard is that this show takes like 500 episodes to get good. I’m ngl I was HOOKED by Arlong Park THE SHOW IS GOOD 🗣️ I’m really liking the world building. The adventure of sailing the world to all these crazy islands just seems like it’s gonna be super fun to watch + some pirates having secret special powers makes it even more interesting The writing is so much funnier than I expected, and the constant banter between characters is funny and wholesome The way they ride-or-die for each other, especially Luffy, makes you so invested in them succeeding together I want to see more!!! Sanji is my favorite so far 🚬😎 Nami is such a mom of the group they would be fucked without her lmao, I love her character As for other anime’s I’ve tried, I feel like I usually tap out early because they’re so serious? Of course the ones I picked maybe were just like that so maybe that’s on me. Idk, the way this show sets up epic or intense moments feels so different and meaningful So far my main “downsides” would just be pacing sometimes can feel kinda slow, like fights will just draw out for a long time randomly. And also that characters will just be AFK from fights often! TBH tho, so far these haven’t been a major impact. I’m fully enjoying watching 😁 The show also does feel like it’s setting up for a lot of it, but for example the set up to Arlong Park was such a banger so I’m not complaining. And from what ppl say it only gets crazier so I’m ready The show does a perfect job at encompassing that early 90s friends-on-an-adventure vibe and I’m loving it. Excited to see more as I get to Alabasta 🐊
