Besides trading, I devote time to exercising (basic calisthenics), reading (mainly philosophy and self-development literature), learning new things, and improving my skills in two foreign languages.
I occasionally write reflective posts and share fitness insights based on my personal experience. Here are some posts I have written in the past that might be helpful to those who missed them as they disappeared among the countless charts.

Discretion is the holy grail.
When you truly understand the beauty of trading, you realize something important:
The real edge is you.
If making money in trading were as simple as finding the perfect mechanical strategy, everyone would be rich and prop firms wouldn’t exist.
But reality says otherwise.
Less than 2% of traders ever reach the point where they receive consistent payouts.
So stop chasing every new strategy you see.
Stop suffering from shiny object syndrome.
Pick one system - and master it.
Everyone is searching for the secret strategy.
But the truth is much simpler:
Your edge comes from committing to one approach and staying with it long enough to truly understand it.

Markets are always manipulative - that’s the nature of the game.
But right now, geopolitical noise is making it harder to hold a directional bias with confidence.
I had my first real wins with swing trading, yet in this environment I prefer staying local and reactive.
One statement can invalidate weeks of context.

Time is way more important than I thought a couple of months ago. Now I never ignore it - below H1, I only open trades during the LO/NY session; above H1 is valid anytime.

questions everyone should ask themselves
>what would I do if money were not a problem
>what brings me happiness and joy
>who inspires me
>where do I see myself in 5yrs
>what would I do if I knew I could not lose and everything worked out in my favor
>one thing you are avoiding

Trading will destroy you.
It killed me inside. I've never felt pain like this before.
Worth it? Yes. Because now I know - deep down - there are no shortcuts.
And I'll never tell anyone to do this. My closest friends don't even know what I do. Just "business." My privacy and peace are worth more than their understanding.
Now? I love the pain. This is who I am.
But don't get it twisted - the pain is real. And it never stops.

Had multiple serious job offers. Declined them all. Why? Because I know my goal and what I truly want. That clarity makes me happy, and a Mission keeps me focused.
Life hands out opportunities to everyone - but not all opportunities are YOUR opportunities. Be selective. Say yes to what aligns with your goals. Pursue YOUR path.

@TheReal9H Now that time has passed and you’ve gained more experience, how do you look at your comment now? I’m genuinely curious

Here you go @Sarofx, thank you very much for the value of your response.
I took 10 of your last trade and tried to identify a “pattern” over time, OHLC oriented.
➡️ Before my experiment
I tried to observe 2 things:
1/ Firstly, I've learned on my journey that we can divide each candle into 4 movements, 4 quarters, so I tried to see if you entered on specific quarters.
2/ Secondly, when a candle is bullish, it should dig below the opening price and then rise. Nothing new for me yet.
➡️ Results and analysis
1/ I didn't find anything about “quarters”: you can enter on any quarter, I don't see any real recurrence here, even if you rarely enter on candles Q1.
2/ You ALWAYS enter according to openings,
If you want to short, you wait until the Weekly, Daily, H4, H1, M15 to trade above their opening price.
➡️ Missing point
During my experiment, I've seen something interesting that I should look at now: the raid of the previous candle.
Most of the time ( I'm not going to say always because I haven't done any data on the subject), you expect a raid from the previous candle on every major timeframe.
Example: If you want to go long, you'll wait for the price to take PWL, PDL, PH4L, PH1L, PM15L.
It's all linked to the opens, one can't go without the other.

Thank you, Alfred! I’ve been watching your stream - you’re dedicating so much effort for us, like we’re your students.
May I ask, what is your goal? I know it’s about our independence in thinking, but what’s your overall vision?
Also, I understood that you often combine office work with trading. How do you stay so productive? :)
THANK YOU FOR KNOWLEDGE 💎

“If there is such a thing as a secret to the nature of trading, this is it: At the very core of one’s ability 1) to trade without fear or overconfidence, 2) perceive what the market is offering from its perspective, 3) stay completely focused in the ‘now moment opportunity flow,’ and 4) spontaneously enter the ‘zone,’ it is a strong virtually unshakeable belief in an uncertain outcome with an edge in your favor.”
