@JonRothstein Unfortunately, NCAA basketball doesn’t have a championship for mid-major schools like college football. If they make the tournament, they should only pack for one night.

Here are the unofficial results from the first weekend: Runs: 1,051-347 Wins/Losses: 110-23 35 shutouts The mid-major schools that played against other mid-major schools enjoyed competitive games. The same held true for the Power 5 matches. @NCAASoftball

I coached at both the @D3Softball and @naiasoftball_ levels. The parity between teams competing in the spring allowed for better player and team development. Losing to another mid-major school by two runs is more instructive than losing to @OU_Softball by 15.
