bad girls club! it was the epitome of raw and uncut. baddies is more like the love and hip hop version of bgc, it’s orchestrated and set up. real issues but there’s celebs/influencers with a platform already. no real conversations, pretty much like interviews outside of their confessionals. they even try to throw in dinner scenes/link up scenes that aren’t natural— it’s more like an attempt at filler scenes to bring a natural feel to it but it’s still planned and a time to start/time to end. bgc girls were followed around with a camera at all times, microphone on at all times and only off if the girls were in the shower or jumping in the pool. bad girls club was girls we didn’t know and got a chance to see them in their natural state. the fights organically happened. no big lights above there heads or producers saying, “okay ladies, you wanna fight? we need dialogue then whenever you’re ready to swing, swing! 30 secs!” it was a social experiment to see 7 women in their 20s live in a mansion amongst themselves and what choices they’d make. will they put on a front for the cameras or show their “real” selves and i say real with quotation marks because it’s only how the girls would act when put in certain environments or situations.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t want the heaviest hitters being cool… who they gon fight? The non fighters?? Nah get in the field.
