@MPearsonPO @tomgoom It’s really interesting seeing the impact they are having. Times definitely coming down for some but they are seeing more proximal injuries on the rise from athletes that are not strong enough to cope with the changes they make to your running. 🤷‍♀️

@totalorthotics1 @tomgoom There is some interesting literature around shows with carbon plates in. From memory, the general consensus is that it’s actually the midsole foam that seems to make more of a difference to running economy rather than the carbon.

@rebekahkphysio @suzy_speirs That makes sense, with typical CMT foot profile. I do wonder if a more bespoke brace could be done for you without excessive thickness but I guess would come at a cost 🤷‍♀️. Keep us updated with how you get on 😊

@rebekahkphysio Do you think the burning is a sensory response and therefore as @suzy_speirs suggested something like a Richie brace/custom AFO with better foot profile would help or due to the footplate restricting any muscle activation?? I find your AFO feedback really insightful. Thank you.
