For me I think MM's arc is a bit confusing: * he joins the boys because he couldn't get over how Soldier Boy caused his family member's death * but this is not targeted at Soldier Boy.
Instead he targets Homelander with Butcher * he couldn't return to his family as long as this bothers him. He admits to this at some point * so why is he able to return to his family at the end once Homelander is stopped but there are plenty of other bad Supes running around? Including Solider Boy who is alive?

There’s literally no excuse for banning your own teammates character. This is the only only valid scenario where you throw. Starlord, Loki was open and they synergize well with Gambit, why not try and make it work..
