Ice Storm Update #3: Parks, trails, and tracts have reopened. Cleanup in these areas is ongoing. Please direct any parks, trails, and tracts concerns to the Recreation department. Tree debris cleanup on roads is ongoing and will continue to be prioritized accordingly. Yard waste pickup begins next week (April 7-11) in Orangeville and in rural areas and continues the week of April 14. Public Works will tentatively commence Road Sweeping in all of its subdivisions during the week of April 14th, weather permitting. If you could please prepare by raking any sand along your property frontage, it will be picked up during this time. Please continue to monitor the Town’s website for any updates regarding this and all other Public Works operations.

We have extended the availability of our water refill station 💧 It will now be open from April 2 – 4, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Mono Town Hall (347209 Mono Centre Road, Mono). There are a limited number of 5 gallon water containers for residents who do not have refillable containers. The containers are available on a first come, first served basis while quantities last. townofmono.com/news-events/20…

Town Ice Storm Update #2 (April 1) 🔔 : townofmono.com/news-events/20… • Mono parks, trails, and tracts remain closed • 4,500 customers in Dufferin County are still without power • Generator/food safety • Phone charging is available at Mono Town Hall during regular business hours (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM). Bring your own chargers • You must have a fire permit if you plan on burning tree debris Tree limbs less than 3 inches in diameter can be cut into lengths not exceeding 4 feet and bundled for future pickup by GFL. DO NOT place at the roadside until informed about GFL pickup schedule Mono is working on plans for accepting larger trees/limbs
