@chandeep2786 Suppose you add a type definition to the table.AddColumn like “, type [A=number, B=text]” after expanding columns; this will persist the data type.

Most people create columns one by one in Power Query. But you don’t have to. You can write all the logic inside a single record, expand it once, and get multiple columns in one go. Cleaner, faster, and much easier to manage. P.S. - Hyderabad folks, I’m in town and doing an in-person meetup tomorrow, 21st Mar 11 AM at Café Coffee Day, Sarath City Capital Mall. If you’re around, come say hi. I always enjoy these meetups because everyone brings different experiences and perspectives, and the conversations are always worth it 😀 See you there!

You can now schedule recurring cloud-based tasks on Claude Code. Set a repo (or repos), a schedule, and a prompt. Claude runs it via cloud infra on your schedule, so you don’t need to keep Claude Code running on your local machine.

Data analysts, BI professionals... people who create dashboards and data models in SSBI tools... I think these roles have a big advantage for effectively using AI and coding agents. In this video, I explain why, and show examples of things I've made in the last 1-2 months.

Sometimes you just need to see what your M (Power Query) code is actually doing — and that’s not always obvious. I added an Execution Plan to M-Game: run your code, open the plan, inspect the flow + intermediate results ✅ mgame.datameerkat.com #PowerQuery #MLanguage #PowerBI

@KratosBi Initially, I was using stars to measure users' success based on whether they used hints. I have removed the star system, but I have left achievements as a small remember

@ganeshmdoifode But this feeling of ease only masks the problems that create it: 1) Ignorance of pitfalls and architectural errors 2) Ignorance of one's own solution 3) Uselessness of junior roles 4) Overlooking security errors ...

@tpnRel1 I agree, it makes life too easy. Only you know what you need to do to make it happen, Claude.

Hmm... I am experimenting with Claude a lot recently and it is interesting tool indeed. It generates a lot of security flaws in its generated code, but still... It can make your life much easier if you know what you are doing.

What if you could run M and DAX in your browser? Well I've got an extremely minimal PoC working. You can edit the input CSV and edit the code that's run. Let me know what you think. Link below.
