The MCC effect: How a policy scorecard helps frame DRC reform plans devex.com/news/the-mcc-e… #Devex via @Devex
There are existing means through which nations enhance their survival; MCC conditions are predicated on existing notions of acceptable governance patterns, standards and structures as defined by democracy and states' constitutions. @MCCgov grants are not a fee for nations to do right but an inducement to countries willing to progress with the right democratic temperament.
The MCC fosters reforms; governments that are serious about their people and development will conduct themselves in the manner and enhance those agreed reforms according to timelines.
Achievement on the scorecard for funds released indicates seriousness, which is the right way to go! #SaloneTwitter#SaloneX#Salonetwitter@USEmbFreetown@UKinSierraLeone@GERinSalone

Members of the @RSL_Parliament have withdrawn the controversial Parliament Act 2023.
Today, it was interesting to watch how members of the main opposition APC, and the ruling SLPP were accusing each other of owning the Bill.

As I traverse the nation to assess first-hand our developmental strides in five years, I'm motivated by the positive feedback from our revered Paramount Chiefs and Tribal Heads.
We have built robust monitoring and evaluation systems through the 206 electronic monitoring devices distributed to the Paramount Chiefs and Tribal Heads in November 2022. These devices are helping to monitor the implementation of our Free Quality School Education (FQSE) Program in schools in their localities to help in improving learning outcomes and measuring impact.
My Team and I are deploying technology to help in promoting accountability in the FQSE initiative. Our FQSE Program is bringing fit-for-purpose education to every child across the Districts in #SierraLeone. The data shows 99% availability of teaching and learning materials. Thanks, @Fab_Inc_dev.

High Court Judge, Hon. Justice Adrian Fisher has just sentenced Alhaji Amadu Bah, popularly known as LAJ to 9 years imprisonment and ordered him to pay compensation to the victims.
It came after LAJ was found guilty on Monday, 13th March, on all four Counts brought against him.
On this #IWD, with the theme, “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”, I pledge to #EmbraceEquity and reaffirm my Government’s commitment to promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in #SierraLeone through the landmark GEWE ACT 2022. #IWD2023 🇸🇱 1/2
