One company manages 6,000 AWS accounts with three people 😅 Not 60. Not 600. Six thousand! 🔥 Each customer gets their own isolated account with the full microservice stack → 40 services, ~120,000 deployed instances, roughly 1 million Lambda functions across the fleet.

That last one is genuinely rare. Full API backward compatibility for two decades, across a system now spanning 123 availability zones. S3 Vectors launched in July 2025 and already has 250,000+ indices and 1+ billion queries. That’s fast adoption for a storage primitive!!

S3 launched on March 14, 2006 with a one-paragraph announcement. "Amazon S3 is storage for the Internet. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers." Twenty years later: • 500+ trillion objects stored • 200 million requests per second

AWS just made finding and deploying AI agents way easier! AWS Marketplace now has a dedicated section for AI agents and tools 💪 This means you can actually search through third-party agent solutions in one place! TL;DR:

You need to: → Navigate to Billing Dashboard → Find "Budgets" buried in the left menu → Manually configure thresholds One more thing that Microsoft got right.

Azure explicitly asks you to set a billing alert when creating a subscription. You can skip it. But it's right there in the setup flow! Meanwhile in AWS? Billing alerts aren't even mentioned during account setup, are they?

AWS CLI v2.34.0 finally shipped structured error output 🎉 Errors now include the actual useful details by default. Before this, you'd get a generic "The specified bucket does not exist" message. Now you see which bucket name caused the problem right in the error output.
