As a foreigner, smaller RCs are basically GPs, you need to win an LCQ on Friday (your Day1) and you need to 7-1 the RC (your Day2) for the PT invite. Hard but doable. Next up is Brazil 🇧🇷 in May! Excited to play the game and see the word again with Magic like back in the days! 🥰

@Badger_a 100% this is exactly my situation as well. I also logged into my account and the 10 week option isn't even there anymore. The highest is 8 weeks. My current subscription still shows as 10 weeks but the drop down option gives 8 as the max.

@huel @tpuefol Thank you. A big negative for me as I don't consume it within the max 10 weeks you allow me to choose. So I've now got an overstock and will have to cancel my subscription and manually relaunch when needed.

Hey @huel I didn't receive any emails giving me the usual 3 day notice that my subscription is about to renew, just an email saying you've already taken the money. Is this a deliberate change or a mistake?

@huel @Badger_a This also happened to me and is a massive negative. The other comments also seem to suggest this. Please change back. Been having Huel for well over 5 years and this is not an improvement.

Gary is one of the greatest guys I ever met. The living, breathing heart of not only the Scottish, but to a large extent also the European Eternal community. The world is better because we have Gary. Truly one of the greatest ambassadors we have in Magic.

@Amaz @MartinJuza I feel like the fun has dropped somewhat since the GP era. Agreed that 'competitive' grind was mostly a -EV situation and it was always massively made up from the company you went with, experiences and enjoyment.

@MartinJuza The highest EV for events for me is always fun. Travelling, tickets, entry fees, hotels, and flights: you are always losing battle in terms of financial value. Arena directs on the other hand are way more +EV in terms of value, as an alternative.

Standard issues aside, I am surprised more people dont play the Spotlights. The foil day2 promo sold listings on ebay are $500-$1500, which makes this a much better EV tournament than almost anything else you can play IRL. Plus the trophy is probably another ~50k or so?
