Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported that another member of the group responsible for the brutal murder of two residents of the village of Kalynivka in the Kyiv region has been detained. It is a horrific tragedy, and everyone responsible will be held fully accountable. Ten people have now been detained. Sadly, they include service members and the former commander of the 155th Brigade. Everything they perpetrated will be thoroughly investigated. This case goes beyond a single community or even the Kyiv region alone. Establishing the full truth and holding everyone responsible to account is something the entire country needs. And that will happen. Today, the head of the regional administration and the regional police chief also met with the Kalynivka community. It is important that people are helping secure justice for the Moseichuk family. Everything that was promised to the community during that meeting must be delivered in full. I thank everyone who is helping, including the media, for not being indifferent.

Так само й у внутрішній роботі. Зараз є нові виклики і нові завдання. Потребує значного посилення вся робота у прифронтових та прикордонних областях України, які щодня зазнають російських ударів. Розраховую на збільшення постачання нашій армії необхідної зброї, усіх типів дронів. Надзвичайно важливий напрямок – це підготовка до зими, і Україні потрібна готовність до всіх загроз, які можуть виникнути. Має бути прискорена трансформація державних компаній, від яких значно залежить стійкість України. Окремої, спеціальної уваги потребують і домовленості України з партнерами у сфері відновлення. Відповідно, в Україні розпочнуться і кадрові зміни, які мають гарантувати реалізацію оновленої політичної стратегії. Ми обговорили деталі з Премʼєр-міністром України Юлією Свириденко. Визначили, що для змін потрібне оновлення Кабінету Міністрів. Я вдячний Юлії за чітку, стабільну і ефективну роботу на посаді Премʼєр-міністра, за роки результативної роботи в команді України й запропонував очолити новий значимий напрямок у відносинах з ключовим партнером. Розраховую, що разом з парламентарями проведемо відповідні заміни в уряді України. Будуть також зміни у складі керівників правоохоронних органів. Дякую усім, хто допомагає! Ukraine is changing its political strategy. Each priority area of foreign policy will be assigned to a specific person with substantial experience who is capable of implementing what we agree on at the leaders’ level and what the Ukrainian people expect. The most important of these areas include the United States and our agreements on licenses to manufacture Patriot systems, as well as other bilateral security cooperation, which must translate into clear gains for our countries and for Ukrainian and American companies; the European antiballistic project, which could become one of the most significant steps to strengthen Europe this decade; the European Union, where we need clear progress toward Ukraine’s membership and deeper ties in every area – economic, political, and cultural; Ukraine’s neighboring countries, relations with which require a new foundation, especially Poland and Hungary; the Middle East and Gulf region as one of the most promising global areas for security and economic cooperation; China; and key international organizations that influence global decisions and can do more to help end Russia’s war against Ukraine. The same applies to our domestic work. There are new challenges and new tasks. All work in Ukraine’s frontline and border regions, which come under Russian attack every day, must be significantly strengthened. I expect increased supplies of the weapons our army needs, including all types of drones. Preparing for winter is an extremely important priority, and Ukraine must be ready for every threat that may arise. The transformation of state-owned companies, on which Ukraine’s resilience significantly depends, must be accelerated. Ukraine’s agreements with its partners on recovery also require separate and focused attention. Accordingly, personnel changes will begin in Ukraine to ensure the implementation of the updated political strategy. We discussed the details with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko. We determined that these changes require a renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers. I am grateful to Yuliia for her clear, steady, and effective work as Prime Minister, for her years of productive service on Ukraine’s team, and I have offered her the opportunity to lead a new and important area of relations with a key partner. I expect that, together with MPs, we will make the corresponding changes in the Government of Ukraine. There will also be changes among the heads of law enforcement agencies. I am preparing changes across our diplomatic efforts. We need a new quality of engagement with Ukraine’s partners to ensure the implementation of our agreements on weapons supplies. The agreements reached at the leaders’ level must be implemented much faster and in full. The U.S. and our agreement on licenses for the production of Patriots. Europe and our work to develop Europe’s own anti-ballistic capabilities, as well as other projects focused specifically on defensive cooperation. Also, the support packages for Ukraine that have been announced but, as of today, have not yet been delivered in full.

Вже за два дні почнуться ексгумаційні роботи на території сіл Острівки та Воля Островецька. Повна правда та християнське вшанування загиблих – це те, що потрібно. Потрібно не забувати і те, що зараз, у наш час, Україна та Польща мають одну спільну загрозу, і це смертельна загроза для нашої незалежності, для наших держав, для кожного міста, для кожного села, і зветься ця загроза Росією. Говорячи про те, що було, ми повинні не ставити під сумнів майбутнє наших народів – майбутнє України, Польщі, майбутнє всієї нашої Європи.

Every year on this day, Poland and Ukraine honor the memory of people – civilians – who were killed in Volyn during the Second World War. Today, representatives of the Ukrainian state took part in joint prayer services alongside representatives of the Polish state – both here in Ukraine and in Poland. Ukraine is doing its part to fairly establish the facts about those who were killed in those years. Search operations are underway at the sites of former villages and burial locations. Ukraine is committed to accelerating this process. In just two days, exhumation work will begin in the villages of Ostrivky and Volya Ostrovetska. What we need is the full truth and a Christian commemoration of the victims. But we must also remember that today, in our own time, Ukraine and Poland face one common threat, which is a deadly threat to our independence, to both our states, to every city and every village. That threat is Russia. As we speak about the past, we must not cast doubt on the future of our nations – the future of Ukraine, of Poland, and the future of all of Europe.

Russia’s gasoline crisis is deepening – quite justly – in response to Putin’s reluctance to end this war. We have put forward proposals on how to bring peace closer, and we have support not only among our partners around the world, but also within Putin’s own circle. They understand what is happening and that peace has no alternative. This sentiment in Russia will continue to grow. Today, I signed a decree establishing a special command within the Armed Forces of Ukraine – a command for long-range, effectively global, impact on Russia over this war. This command must concentrate 100% of the available resources on degrading Russia’s warfighting potential even more. The commander in charge of this direction will be strong and certainly highly experienced.

FREYA. This is our Ukrainian anti-ballistic system. This project is an anti-ballistic system that should be an analogue of Patriot in terms of intercepting ballistic targets, but one that is easier to mass-produce and less expensive. This is a European model. Our first meeting on this topic will take place in France, and it will happen in the near future. Our task was to bring together leaders, companies, and national security advisors – and to present the relevant project to countries that can help Ukraine implement it very quickly. If the leaders, their production capacities, and their companies support FREYA, then FREYA will come to life very soon. Patriots are number one. We are grateful to the United States and to the Europeans who have helped us with these systems. There is SAMP/T NG – the new generation of French systems. Is it an analogue of Patriot? Yes. And we very much hope that, thanks to our agreements with France, we will receive the corresponding systems. But with both Patriots and SAMP/T, it is a matter of time. За цей тиждень наші воїни досягли важливих результатів у застосуванні далекобійних санкцій по російських обʼєктах, які працюють на цю війну. Українські дрони долетіли до Сибіру та уразили НПЗ в Омську – майже 2,5 тисячі кілометрів від України. Тепер немає жодного російського НПЗ, до якого б не дістала українська зброя. Також наші відповіді на російські удари були по нафтових обʼєктах у Саратовському, Ростовському, Тверському, Ставропольському, Краснодарському регіонах, Татарстані та Башкортостані. Був уражений аеродром у Воронезькому регіоні, стратегічне підприємство у Твері. Були й застосування дронів по обʼєктах у Московському, Ленінградському та Брянському регіонах. Наш план далекобійних санкцій проти Росії виконується чітко. Дякую усім залученим підрозділам за влучність!

This week, our warriors achieved important results in imposing long-range sanctions against Russian facilities that fuel this war. Ukrainian drones reached Siberia and struck the oil refinery in Omsk – nearly 2,500 kilometers from Ukraine. Now, no Russian oil refinery is beyond the reach of Ukrainian weapons. Our responses to Russian strikes also targeted oil facilities in the Saratov, Rostov, Tver, Stavropol, and Krasnodar regions, as well as in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. An airfield in the Voronezh region and a strategic enterprise in Tver were hit. Drones were also used against facilities in the Moscow, Leningrad, and Bryansk regions. Наші воїни виконують план далекобійних санкцій у відповідь на затягування війни і російські удари. Напередодні були важливі ураження по обʼєктах, які забезпечують російський нафтовий комплекс та працюють на воєнну політику. Воїни СБУ уразили дві нафтобази – у Ставрополі та Твері. Обидві приблизно за 500 кілометрів від лінії фронту. Також підрозділи Сил оборони України уразили резервне сховище для накопичення та зберігання пального. Відстань від лінії фронту – близько 800 кілометрів. В російській Уфі застосували санкції по нафтоперекачувальній станції майже за 1500 кілометрів від нашого кордону. А також був санкціонований нафтоналивний термінал у Ростовському регіоні, що приблизно за 200 кілометрів від лінії фронту. Дякую всім нашим воїнам, які щодня роблять такі результати можливими. Ми давно запропонували Росії закінчити цю війну, і кожен день затягування має приносити відчуття війни туди, звідки це все й почалося, – в Росію.

Our warriors are carrying out the long-range sanctions plan in response to Russia dragging out the war and continuing its attacks. Recent days saw important successful strikes on facilities supporting Russia's oil sector and sustaining its war policy. SSU warriors struck two oil depots – one in Stavropol and the other in Tver. Both are about 500 kilometers from the front line. Units of Ukraine's Defense Forces also struck a reserve fuel storage facility located about 800 kilometers from the front. An oil pumping station in Russia's Ufa, nearly 1,500 kilometers from our border, also came under sanctions. An oil loading terminal in the Rostov region, about 200 kilometers from the front line, was sanctioned as well. I thank all our warriors who make results like these possible every single day. We offered Russia a way to end this war long ago, and every day it chooses to prolong it should bring the reality of war back to where it began – to Russia.
