Alright, lets talk about a @UCWV_Baseball team that is 14-4 led by First Year Head Coach @DPetey27. They went 4-0 this weekend sweeping double headers vs Wheeling and West Liberty to open @TheMountainEast play. Notables: 1. They RUN: 63-70 on stolen bases through 18 games 👀💨 2. 4.38 Team ERA, best in the league. 3. Twist it: They've turned 14 double plays. Plus, J.D. Armstrong hit3⃣ GRAND SLAMS and went 8-16 with 16 RBI in four games over the weekend🤯 Freshman Trace Hartman is 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP across 4 appearances (14.2 IP). He made his first start this weekend, and impressed (6.0 IP, 0ER, 4SO) and hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 13.2 innings of work. He's also 5-12 at the plate with 2 HR and 8 RBI on the year. Casey Finck leads the team with 22 hits and is hitting .379 with an 1.150 OPS. Cody Godbold hasn't allowed a run in 9 appearances with 2 saves and Owen MacNeil has a 1.10 ERA through 5 starts (16.1 IP, 2-0) #D2Baseball
