@PierrePoilievre Just go away, Pierre. Resign. You can’t even get your security clearance. You think your numbers are low now? Keep going with this, it will go even lower. We know about the IDU / Israel link and Trump. We already figured it all out. You’re done.

Mark Carney is using back room deals to seize a costly majority that voters rejected, which will enable Liberals to balloon debt, inflate the cost of living, block resources and turn criminals loose on our streets. Conservatives will do what we promised voters: fight for a Canada that is affordable, safe and strong at home and unbreakable abroad.

Horrible news. The Liberal Government has just successfully “censored their censorship bill” by working with the separatist Bloc Quebecois to end committee debate and ram the bill through Parliament. The bill seeks to make it easier to prosecute and arrest Canadians for political and religious expression by watering down the definition of “hate speech” and removing important safeguards against abuse. We’ll continue the fight in Parliament, but there’s no way to sugar-coat the situation. This is a dark day for free speech in Canada.

‼️ INCREDIBLE Pierre Poilievre has offered to negotiate with Trump. Something Mark Carney has yet to do himself, despite promises of a deal being completed last year & tariffs only going up since he took over from Trudeau. Time to send in the big hitter.

Today, I am beginning meetings in London with British political and business leaders to deepen trade and security with Canada. The goals are to encourage more competition, drive consumer prices down and wages up, and generate more overseas sales, to make us stronger at home with unbreakable leverage abroad.

There is zero chance that Canada will ever become part of the United States. But neither will we replace our relationship with the American people, our closest neighbour and biggest customer, with a New World Order led by Beijing.

Moral panic keeps us distracted from solving problems at home. As Canadians, we should be concerned about putting our workers and businesses first. The $8 million that the Liberals are sending to Cuba's communist government is just the latest example.

@PierrePoilievre Tell the truth for once. So sick of your ragebaiting bullshit. Our mayor had to bypass our CPC MP for funding because of you. But our housing market has stabilized thanks to Sean Fraser.

We need to unlock homebuilding and home ownership. Yet despite Mark Carney’s year of funding new bureaucracies, making big promises, and doing flashy photo ops, his housing agency says homebuilding will fall. Get Liberal bureaucracy and taxes out of the way and let our builders build homes so Canadians can afford a place to live: conservative.ca/cpc/end-the-ne…

Former Refugee here. 👋 I’m not offended by Pierre’s comments. In fact, I welcome them. I also welcome the Conservative’s motion to remove unfair & additional healthcare to fake refugees in our country. I find it offensive that the Liberals are trying to clutch their pearls on my behalf. They now suddenly want to speak for people like me, because their open borders program has failed and we are seeing the consequences of that failure? I’ve also seen people like Laura Babcock, saying things like she’s “interacted” with refugees. I think this is the equivalent of saying “I’m not racist cause I have a brown Spanish friend”. If you truly cared, you would back the motion, because rejected refugees with fake claims need to be deported, not given our money. In fact, dangerous criminals now claim refugee status to avoid deportation. They found the Liberal loophole and they get to be out on the street the next day! And you know what continues to push me & people like me, away from the Liberal Party? The fact that these raging Liberals throw words like “illegal immigrant” or “refugee” at me like it’s an insult. And now, you’re suddenly defending fake refugees? These people are unburdened by their lack of honour or principle. Deport the fake refugees. Treat all as equals. Either we all get the extended healthcare or none of us do.

The Canadian mainstream media is giving Carney the biggest open ice EVER in recent political history. Punishing food inflation? Housing starts falling? Bigger deficits than Trudeau? They don’t care. They even write articles about Canada being worse off than Alabama but act like it happened all of a sudden - like the weather. Meanwhile, Carney hasn’t removed a single anti-development law, or approved a single new project out of his Major Projects office. His response to food inflation is a recycled Trudeau policy that didn’t work back then. He promised during the election that he would get a deal on US tariffs and so far things have just gotten worse. Meanwhile, the media gush over trade deals that have already been signed by previous governments, regurgitate Liberal spin as headlines, and spend more time scrutinizing the opposition than the government. We all know the Liberals subsidize them. But the Parliamentary press gallery could at least pretend to be objective by telling the truth on Carney’s actual results versus his rhetoric.
Mike Lake@MikeLakeMP

It’s absolutely unfathomable how little scrutiny Canada’s national media is giving the Carney Liberal government, while offering megaphones to partisan Liberal insiders to declare their feelings about their literal political opponent. Where are the blaring headlines about Canada’s record debt, self-inflicted housing and food crises, increasing serious crime rate, and broken immigration system? If we’re going to talk about political machinations, where are the dogged reporters asking MPs who have joined the Liberals about the conversations they’ve had, and with whom, in advance of crossing? Who’s asking the newest Liberal MP why he took the last three months off?! Or if he actually lives in BC or Alberta? These are all important and fair questions that are in the public interest and are, quite simply, not being pursued by almost anyone in the mainstream media. Relentlessly asking Liberals what they think of Conservatives is not the journalism Canada needs at this crucial moment in time.

@EvanLSolomon The liberal government policies are 100% responsible for this tragedy. David Lametti is responsible. Marci Ien is responsible. Jody-Wilson Raybould is responsible. Justin Trudeau is responsible. Will you bother to ask your bosses about changing legislation? Doubtful.

This is insane and Orwellian. Governments and kangaroo courts now chill freedom of expression instead of fighting crime, censoring people who dare to speak their minds. Just ask the B.C. school board trustee who got slapped with a $750,000 fine for saying there are two genders. Enough is enough. We must defend the truth and free speech against these mad censors. Today is a sad day. Canadians voted for change. We all knew the country was going in a bad direction. 43% of Canadians thought Mark Carney offered that change and 41% thought Pierre Poilievre did. Myself, I think the degree of change has been insufficient. We’ve been hurtling toward the cliff’s edge and Mark Carney has merely tapped the brakes instead of stopping and turning around. The houses aren’t built. The pipelines aren’t built. Crime, wasteful spending, and immigration fraud remain out of control. Our military has not rearmed. Bizarre DEI hiring in the bloated public service continues. Groceries are too expensive and food banks are overwhelmed. We remain economically vulnerable to the crazed outbursts of the US president and our democratic elections remain vulnerable to Beijing’s interference. Matt Jeneroux’s decision today entrenches this “brake tapping” approach to change, anti-democratically, possibly for three years. I’m worried for my country.

I won’t delete this. This was after I was lied to. More lies came after. @jeneroux will live with his decisions, character and broken relationships. What do we have beyond our integrity? I’ll sleep fine, staying true to my principles while I continue to fight for my people.

I am honoured to have served with @jeneroux. Matt Jeneroux is a good friend who gave a lot in public service. Matt is one of the friendliest people I know. I wish him all the best.
