51 years ago today, Bob Beamon of the USA 🇺🇸 leaped 8.90m in the long jump in Mexico City. Over half a century later, only one man has gone further. Beamon’s jump in 1968 broke the world record by nearly two feet! He received a sport scholarship from @UTEPAthletics #picksup
