There will be no high stakes testing this year, and yet all over America educators have continued to teach and inspire their students online. I hope the powers that be realize we do what we do because we love children and not because a test is held over our heads.

When schools were announcing closure, our kids were excited. Now,same kids miss their friends, their teachers, how bored they are at home, and how much they prefer in class learning. it’s all about relationships, talking, discussing—and some of that just isn’t the same virtually.
