Things I've learned from watching Frieren :) • it's not about how long you know people, it's about how well you know them • just being around someone doesn't mean you truly see them, and you usually realize someone mattered way too late, so don’t take people for granted • ask questions about people while you still can • if someone keeps investing in you, take that seriously • cherish the small moments in life • cherish the gifts people give you, give them meaning, don’t just neglect them or throw them in your attic • notice beauty in everything • a meaningful life is built more from repeated small acts than from one giant moment • the right push can change a life (himmel -> frieren, frieren -> sein/stark, lawine -> kanne) • friendship is built in boring time BUT ALSO • friendship means little when it's only convenient • love can be obvious in hindsight but invisible in the moment • many conflicts come from misread intentions, not necessarily bad intentions • don't trust first impressions too much (look at heiter, denken, frieren) • other people's confidence can be fake, appear weak when you're strong, and strong when you're weak • real courage is doing the thing while you're scared • discipline beats talent • don't say you'll ''do it someday'', do it now! also, goals are worth pursuing even if you start late • training is faith in your future self, long term > short term • take the risk, be a risktaker, even if theres only a 1% chance (mimic) • real strength and power is often quiet, be underestimated to sum it up: life is made meaningful by attention!
