NQ dropped like a stone yesterday because of the tensions in the UAE. I saw a perfect setup for a short and jumped in. But then I checked my checklist again. Something didn't fit. I closed the trade at BE. Later, the trade hit my target. I could have another funded account. Do I care? No. I followed my rules. That is the real win. Would you stay in a trade if you realized you made a mistake?

The payout is officially in my bank account and it feels great to see the real results. I jumped back on the funded account today and caught a quick short on MNQ for a 200 usd win. It is nice to start the new week in the green without taking any big risks.

@AlexHormozi Incompetence is a lack of skill, distraction is a lack of respect for the goal. Both can be fixed though

You don’t hate your situation enough yet, that’s why you keep tolerating it. Six months from now you will either have six months of excuses or six months of progress.

The hardest part of trading is doing nothing. When you have a plan, you must wait for the market to follow it. If it doesn't, you don't click the button. Trading is a waiting game, not a clicking game. I’m done for today and I feel great about it.

The market is closed. Time to backtest. Backtesting means looking at old charts to see if your strategy actually works. It is boring. It is slow. But it is the only way to build real confidence. While others party, we practice. Are you backtesting this weekend?

Suddenly, you're 5 years in with nothing to show for it. Then you turn the corner...and make back those 5 years of losses in 6 months. This is the reality for most traders, me included. Years of mediocrity, breaking even, highs & lows, inconsistency...nothing working. Years where nothing happens, then weeks where years happen. Unfortunately, I missed two scalps on gold today. It happens, but it’s still annoying... Does that happen to you guys as well?

@t0mbfx This is the moment the "retail" mindset dies and the "professional" one begins. Once you stop feeling the need to be in the market 24/7, your PnL will thank you.

The biggest mindset shift you’ll get is when you realise most of the profitable traders take way less trades than you think

If someone only shows wins, they’re hiding something. Losses are part of the game. If you don’t see them, you’re not seeing the full picture. Be careful who you learn from.

Trading is a game of patience that rewards those who can wait for their setup. Building a community starts with being transparent about the daily grind. Consistency is the bridge between a dream and a funded account.

@Fun_Trades1 The money can be recovered, but a broken mindset takes months to fix. Staying calm is the biggest win you can have today.

-$1264 | I can confidently say I was never in profit here 😅 I stept in front of a moving train. Not my usual setup, but I am fine with taking it on an Eval. Unfortunately that one is gone now. But not problem, I am not mad about it!

I finally achieved my first payout today and it feels incredible to hit this goal. It took 1.5 years of burning money, accounts and trying 4 different strategies to get here. I spent hundreds of hours backtesting and studying just to find a rhythm that worked. The journey was tough but our hub helped me finally simplify everything and stay consistent. This is just the beginning but I am definitely taking a moment to enjoy this win.
