I see no problem. Here’s why: 1) The average salary of RBs is brought down by depth players. There aren’t usually depth kickers on a 53-man roster. Comparing starters’ salaries would be more appropriate. 2) Value is determined by supply & demand. While important, RBs are no longer the catalyst to winning Super Bowls. Consequently, there’s greater supply than demand for RBs that can do what teams need to win. Value naturally drops. On another note, using the 🐐Justin Tucker as the example for kickers being overpaid wasn’t the best choice. He’s the most accurate kicker of all-time and has 19 game-winning field goals, including a record setting 66-yarder. The market has supplied just one Justin Tucker, so he’s been paid accordingly. And despite being perhaps the greatest ever at his position, there are still 13 RBs getting paid more than him.
