$MNQ Asia / London — 13/7/26 🌏 Setup: → 1D FVG sweep → 15m/1H bullish SMT → 3m bullish CISD → SL below the SMT → TP at 1R I was pretty confident after the sweep of the HTF FVG and the SMT that we'd be heading up. IMO we still go higher, but given my account situation, I wanted to lock in a clean 1:1. Result: 2 micros, +$459 ✅ Road to recovery begins now 💪 #MNQ #Trading

The last few days haven't been easy. Friday and Trump's comments hit me hard. Today was a fresh start. ✅ 50% complete on my Topstep Combine. I also noticed Lucid had given me a 50% discount, so I figured it was worth giving their 50K Flex a try. ✅ 50% complete there as well. I'll share a full breakdown of the costs later. For now, my only focus is trading well. I have to get this one right. 👊

Half the year is done. So I finished backtesting my $NQ Magic Hour model. Jan–Jun 2026 - 235 trades. Results 📈 +124.7R 61.4% win rate -6R max drawdown The setup is simple: 2am, 5am, 6am and 7am NY hourly ranges. Price sweeps the range, closes back inside on the 5m chart, then I target the midpoint using a fixed 1.5R model. The monthly consistency in 2026 has been insane. $ES is next. A few tweaks to the algo this weekend uncovered something interesting...👀

Four posts ago, I admitted that after my third payout... I usually become too aggressive. Yesterday, I said my trading had changed. Today, I proved to myself that changing habits is harder than writing about them. NEVER increase your position size after a losing trade. That's exactly how I lost this account.

Nice weekly review brother. I'll focus on the last 2 paragraphs. yes this could be part of your plan to cut winner a little shorter on ranging market or a tighter trade management. but you need to specifically classify the criteria of a ranging market not after fact. you might beat yourself again if it trends right? then you cut your winner short?

After reflecting on this week, I took away a few things. Positives ✅ • Almost all of my market reads were on point. • Consistently got into positions that went into profit. Negatives ❌ • Oversized on a few trades, which made me close positions early. • Forgot to trail my stop on a couple of positions. • Revenge traded after the flash wick instead of accepting the loss. Looking at the daily chart, we've been in a correction, which has made conditions much trickier than when the market is trending. Normally I don't trade with a fixed R target. I trade towards liquidity, so some trades fall just short while others end up being 3R–6R winners. This week has me thinking... During choppy conditions, would I be better off taking a fixed 1R (or maybe 2R) target, then switching back to liquidity targets when the market starts trending again? I found myself in profit so many times this week, only to give it back or take a tiny win. I can’t help but feel this could be better in a corrective market. Curious what you guys think?

So i got an invoice from x for premium sub.. I remember... It's been almost a month since I decided to post here, and I genuinely think this might be one of the best paths I've taken as a developing trader. The community, the accountability, a bit of humor thrown in, and specially a live documentation of my journey also to improve my broken English so its a win for me. X traders come in different kinds: - Most genuinely want to improve their trading - Some are just here to sniff some dopamine - Many are just degens blowing evals like money grows from their ass (wtf?) - Some are sympathy farming? idk - Some aren't really trying to be traders, they want to be "affiliate marketers," focused more on x stat (check my stat below lol) - A hand pick of people amaze me of their consistency. Too many types to list 😂 Thankfully, I'm starting to find my kind of people. @jadecap_ analogy is spot on - this really is just another high school canteen😂
