If I am choosing between Maddison and Sterling this week, I would go for Maddison. Maddison - 8 shots, 9 chances created, 2.89 xGI Sterling - 6 shots, 4 chances created, 1.46 xGI Majority of Sterling stats dominated by that Luton game. I think Sterling is looking sharper this season and he may do well. But, you have to consider the opposition strength while judging small sample size stats. If you haven’t already, watch the Chelsea goals from that game. I like Spurs new style of play. Think they will attack every game and Maddison will be at the center of it. He is on set pieces. Just a great asset all around. Sterling fixtures slightly better. But, I would still choose Maddison. Stats @FFScout
