biggest airdrop of all time incoming? in case you've been living under a rock, a while back the CMO of polymarket @MatthewModabber confirmed that there would be an airdrop sometime in the future. matt also stated, "when we do something, we wanna do it really well... we want it to be a token with true utility, longevity, and it to be around forever." this focus on longevity is perfect because they seem to be taking inspiration from hype which didn't just dump a token but built a sustainable ecosystem around it. also, holders of the $HYPE airdrop have made millions simply from holding their initial airdrop, and if $POLY is anything like $HYPE then we could all be in for a treat. the team has made it clear that they aren't rushing, which is perfectly fine with me (and definitely others) as it gives us more time to predict on poly and improve our volume and PNL. the immediate priority is the regulated U.S. relaunch (which just got a massive green light from the CFTC), with the TGE likely following, potentially pushing a $POLY release for sometime in 2026 (my guess is mid/late 2026). why do i think this could be one of the biggest airdrops of all time? - it's quite simple really. polymarket isn't just some little crypto based prediction site anymore. it has completely transformed into a dominant powerhouse worth billions of dollars. even if they airdrop a small percentage, i think that it could be substantial (especially if you hold for a period of time as well) just like $HYPE. to add on as well, the U.S. release is looking imminent which will bring in a fresh new wave of users. if you haven't started predicting on poly, what are you waiting for? if you missed out on hype, this could be the redemption we've all been waiting for 👀

But for that, you need some "stupid / motivated asf" devs. - As said before, with the current market, most of my trading time is being patient and wait for good entries on few coins. -> I've now a shit ton of time to fully lock in for something i always wanted to try : Bring back the good old 2024 vibe by launching a GOOD TICKER where BAGWORKING is the keys. 2) THE NARRATIVE I WANT : Nothing surprising, i want a Community coin. Back in the good old days, people were focus on good tickers. Good ticker + Good Team + good community = no ceiling. 3) MY VISION : I want a coin where i can bagwork WHOLE DAY, raiding non stop, enjoying with holders, annoying people with non stop notifications cause of the insane raid / Enjoying every new onboarding. For sure i want KOLS in, For sure i'm gonna DM and spam you, BUT it's useless if i don't earn your support. For me a dev HAS TO EARN the support he wants. For that, 1 solution = Bagwork non stop. A) Pay them (spoilers its shit) : Most good guys (OG ones) dont even accept to be paid to shill a coin. If you have to pay them to get them in : Your coin sucks. B) Bagwork that much they want to join your community. Am I wrong to think / feel that crypto twitter may never go back to the glory days it once was? In the last 2 cycles People got amplified when > they shared winning trades early > alpha or insight on up n coming projects / opportunities > called a trend or correction early on assets or potential metas But now… There’s so much anger n distain for others You share a trade, it goes south, people fire off death threats You give alpha, even if it’s right you get called a paid shill Basically everything that was once good, now gets you attacked. This one is about: COIN SELECTION IMPORTANCE ——— - 1 year ago: Coin selection mattered, but you could still take trades purely based on charts without a strong thesis. → It wasn’t that punishing. - Now: Pure chart-based trading is much harder. Between bundles, fake holders, fake volume, and 1-day narratives → it’s extremely punishing. ——— Here are the main criteria I used before and whether they still matter today: – Early or not? – Narrative? – Volume / holders? – KOLs involved? – Market conditions? ========= 1) EARLY GAMBLE / RECENT COIN / DYING COIN : Same as before: focus on recent coins and avoid the other two. - 1 year ago: Once a coin left the “early stage,” you had plenty of clean fibo setups before eventually dropping it. - Now: Trading recent coins is very different. With insane rotation: – Levels are less respected – Bounces are weaker – If your coin selection isn’t perfect → you risk becoming a bag holder ========= 2) THE NARRATIVE : Probably what changed the most. It also means you need way more patience now and you’ll have to skip “easy” chart trades if you want high-quality setups. - 1 year ago: Main types were: * News/Tweet-based (e.g. downald) * Viral video (e.g. anglerfish) * Community coins (e.g. titcoin) * Single KOL-driven * Beta coins → Tweet-based + beta = avoid → Viral videos = fewer back then, could last a few days if strong players were in → KOL plays = 1–3 day runners, very predictable setups → Community coins = easiest to trade - Now: Things changed a lot. You need to be way more selective. → Tweet-based + beta = still avoid → Viral videos = way more frequent, constant “new shiny thing” every week → Unless it’s ultra viral + strong players involved → too risky (good for quick flips only) → KOL-driven plays = not reliable anymore → Community coins = still the best IMO (buttcoin, wojak, etc.) but only with a real community 👉 Conclusion: Focus on the safest narratives only. → Strong community coins → Viral trends with real longevity ========= 3) VOLUME / HOLDERS / ETC : I’ll keep it short: You can’t fully trust these metrics anymore. → Yes, you can still check bubble maps, bundles, fresh wallets… → But everything is engineered now → assume manipulation ========= 4) KOLs INVOLVED - 1 year ago: * Few real KOLs * Real influence * Actually worked for their bags * Active on Twitter * Limited wallets We had fewer KOLs, but much higher quality.
