Good things: I’ve stopped the bleed by suspending my business activity, which gives me time to think through the next steps properly. Bad things: I’m close to the FTMO breach level, and I still don’t have a solution for the regime switch.

My performance has been terrible over the last four months, so I stepped back to review the numbers. I built a benchmark MOAP model in Excel and seems I completely missed the shift between trending and mean-reverting market conditions.

I also added 5 groups of tags to track performance more precisely: 1) session timing (BT/ST/ON), 2) distance from pivot, 3) VIX regime, 4) pivot-direction alignment, and 5) exit type, plus extra labels for 6) pyramiding and 7) overnight holds.

Started already and after a few trades I can see some small but consistent progress, so now it’s all about letting the sample size grow and seeing how this new strategy behaves live compared to how it looked on paper.

I'm testing a new strategy, as there hasn't been much MOAP action recently. The new strategy looks promising on paper—hopefully it performs well live too.
