How do you guys tend to trade evals? Slow roll them or try and hit max day? Me personally I like to hit the max and get funded as soon as possible.

Prop trading simply requires a different edge than trading your own capital. The larger your personal account grows, the less you will trade, and the more you will focus on catching larger moves. This is simply because once you start putting 100–200 contracts into the market, you need high-probability zones and significant potential for a move. However, if you want to trade daily and pull money out of the market every single day, you have to realize that the market is balanced and in a range most of the time. Unfortunately, many prop traders don’t understand this, which is why they blow their accounts. The reality is that to extract money from the market daily—and especially over the long term—a strategy with a risk-reward ratio of about 1:1.5 is inevitable... In my opinion, though, trying to catch huge moves in prop trading is pointless. I’d much rather consistently pull $500 out of the market every day across multiple accounts, instead of trading rarely just to catch a massive run. I would only do the latter with my own capital :)

I have to admit… I don’t do very well in range bound markets. And before anyone says, “Anyone can trade a trend,” maybe. I never said I was some trading superhero. I do my best work when the market is clearly trending, up or down. I think it’s because I’m naturally looking for the bigger moves, and those just aren’t there when price is chopping around. Instead of writing off range bound conditions completely, I’m going to spend some time backtesting lower R:R setups that fit those environments. I’ll let y’all know what I find.

This is officially my longest green streak in Asia alone - Trading a single @TradingLucid $100k Pro Again not a super common session for me to trade so not a huge deal I haven’t even been touching New York the last few weeks- Vacations this summer made the NY session impossible to trade for me but price has been moving so nicely I might have to make the switch to Asia and protect myself from random tweets

Don't trust prop firms. No firm is untouchable. Diversify across multiple props and spread your risk. If you haven't taken a payout yet, focus on that first before diversifying.
