@TraderDivergent If I follow your mechanic system to a tee and still lose money can I get a refund ?
English

Still thinking about that trade from yesterday?
Hey just wanted to share this with you because it’s something I see all the time.
Most traders never fix this.
And it ends up costing them everything peace, clarity, confidence… even their love for trading.
This week, one of my traders, Steve, said something that hit hard:
“A mechanical system removes 99% of the problems most traders face.”
He’s absolutely right.
And I found that out the hard way.

I’ve gotten more payouts in props than just about most all of fintwit. And:
1. I have only been doing props a year
2. I never copy trade between multiple accounts - trade each account individually to lessen risk
3. I study the prop rules correctly to find hidden advantages in the cost/risk model (like counting cards)
There are many ways to skin a cat. It’s not always 20x-copytrade that gets the big wins.

@PeterLBrandt Peter,
I am a brother in Christ who has been trying to succeed at trading for the past 7 years and has, in the last few months, let it go, and been much more at peace.
Would you help me ?

Traders
I know I am such an old guy that many of you younger trades don't have time for the old stuff. I forgive you for blowing me off like you do.
I have made my living for 50 years exactly (over six different decades) trading futures contracts (real ones -- not the phony baloney "futures" from trash prop shops some of you are paying every month to screw around with hypothetical capital - 🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢). That is a story I've spent way too much time going after on X
I have only been a classical chartist -- Richard W. Schabacker hook-line-and-sinker from 1978 til now).
Bar charts - open, high, low, close. Few candles. White background. Simple average. No volume. No indicators. Few lines. Two to three good patterns per each futures market in an entire year. That's it for me.
Small size always. Early years were different and I am lucky to have survived those. Almost didn't. Blew up more accounts (real money accounts -- never traded the prop crap) than I want to remember. Tried every conceivable way.
My goal was to be a trader. I quit a really good job in advertising to dive into futures markets that I knew absolutely NOTHING about when I called the Chicago Board of Trade my daytime home.
Started with nothing in 1975 with hardly anything in savings and a wife and two small infants at home. There were several really important reasons I made it, but any one of those reasons is a story worthy of its own. Believe me, I could talk about so many unbelievable things that can happen to a self-funded futures trader of a half century.
I was introduced to Richard W. Schabacker's book Technical Analysis and Stock Market Profits (1934) in either late 1977 as I recall. Schabacker's book was the source for Edwards and Magee (1948). Schabacker created the rules for classical charting. He defined and codifed the patterns.
I have incredible stories just about the books. I could talk for 15 minutes just about these. Lot's of background and dirt. I have the first printing of Edwards and Magee's book, leather bound and signed by John Magee.
The rabbit tunnel called "charting" is an exploration of enormous journey.
All the "young guns" who act on social media like they invented charting are actually super amusing to me. That's is also a story unto itself.
There is not much about futures markets and trading them with classical charting principles I cannot talk about -- although on some my knowledge is admittedly less than other things.
And here ends this chapterette on the career of a guy too old to be even writing this on the fly with his Asperger's brain firing on all eight.
I am out of here. Thursday nights I am on a Zoom call with buys from all over the country and every race and continent in a program called Bible Study Fellowship. I've been involved with it for years. Great non-denominational study of God's complete Word. This year we are in an Old Testament study of Israel's Exiles (there were two) and return. Tonight we are finishing the book of Esther. What a lady. Incredible.
She could have been one shrewd trader and, if alive, would have been in Jack Schwager's first Market Wizards book. I've been fortunate to have been featured in a Wizards book, written the forward in a Wizards book and been credited by three other Wizards in Wizards book with making a major impact on their trading, especially in the area of risk management which is my obsession (an obsession that might be material for two or three books I will never find the time to write - sorry).
Off to visit Esther. Bye for now.
If my periodic mind melt is appreciated by you, PLEASE let me know with a Like ♥️, maybe even a reply. I am glad to share whatever I know (pretty focused and limited though).

Volume Profile holds no advantage over anything else used in Retail concepts.
How much volume is reported at any given price has zero impact on the measure of buying or selling by Smart Money.
Everything I teach is how to find what they work so hard to hide from everyone else... and many lick up all their red hearings and wild goose chases.
If you can't read candles as they form and forecast where they want to go... you are gambling and pretending what you are doing is technical skill.
I never concern myself with how many orders were executed at any specific price in hindsight. Why?
If I am Bullish, I know Smart Money won't allow it to get cheaper and return there unless it is a fool's pursuit.
This is real order flow... not some Mickey Mouse nonsense paraded about as level 2

@TylerG_Capital @rise_pay Bro can you help me become profitable swinging ?
Been trying to reach out for a bit now
💪
English

Logged into my @rise_pay because I am requesting more payouts next week.
With the year coming to an end and doing some self reflection. Can’t believe how far I have come in 12 months. Truly living my dream life everything I prayed and manifested has come to life.
This is only my @rise_pay payouts from January of this year totally over $183,000 dollars. This doesn’t include half of the other ones this year.
If I were to tell myself last year that I would make 500K + in payouts in a year I would have cried. I’m beyond thankful and blessed to have come this far.
Each and every single one of you can achieve what I did. I was a normal guy working construction who wanted better for himself and never took no for an answer.
I want that 1 million mark. 2025 is the year that changed my life. 2026 I’m about to make even better. The hard work is not done yet.
That 1 million dollar payout with @ApexTradeFund is coming mark my words. ROAD TO A MILLI.
To go from building elevators, to now be a full time trader who live streams is part of a discord with over 12K members with @chartfanatics my life shifted in ways that I always dreamed of.
I love you guys and thank you for this amazing year one I will never forget. 💯📈
