In this video, I break down today’s 200+ point NQ trade at the open and explain why trading candles alone would have missed the setup. At Delta Gamma Vault, we were watching more than candles. We had a plan built around zero gamma, the overnight low, Market Profile, and ES confirmation. NQ opened near zero gamma at 29,687 and the overnight low at 29,676. Once price swept the overnight low, tested zero gamma, and failed to hold below it, that gave us the long trigger around 29,700. But the entry was only part of the trade. The exit mattered just as much. We used ES as confirmation and watched the 7466–7468 target zone, where Combo 1 and the Put Wall were acting as resistance. Once ES hit that zone, we exited the trade and locked in the 200+ point move. This recap shows how zero gamma, overnight levels, Market Profile, and cross-market confirmation can help you build a cleaner trading plan instead of reacting to candles alone. Sometimes, you just have to take a leap of faith. But in trading, that doesn’t mean guessing. People always say, “Wait until the trade sets itself up.” But what does that actually mean? For me, it means waiting until price gives you a reason. NQ overnight low was only a few points away from zero gamma. At the open, price swept the overnight low and zero gamma together. That was the liquidity test. Then price tried to break below it twice — and failed both times. That’s the moment where the setup is no longer just about a level. It becomes about behavior. Did sellers get follow-through? Did price accept below? Did the auction continue lower? No. So sometimes, you have to trust what the market is showing you. Not because you are predicting. Because the trade finally set itself up. #NQ #Nasdaq #FuturesTrading #DayTrading #MarketProfile #OrderFlow #GammaLevels #ZeroGamma #LiquiditySweep #TradingPsychology #AuctionMarketTheory #DeltaGammaVault

Imagine being trapped at a corner desk… Forced to trade only at a certain hour. Micromanaged. Drained by a toxic environment. You don’t grow there. You become a chrysalis. Stuck. Silent. Waiting. Until you finally get your wings. 670 NQ points became 1,637 points in 3 weeks. That’s not luck. That’s what happens when a trader is finally free 🦋⚡️ #NQ_F $NQ #futurestrading #futureseducation #ES_F #ES $ES #NQ #marketprofile

Vol GEX flipped from +281 to -872 in just 45 minutes today. Most traders saw bearish pressure. I saw insurance. Morning: institutions bought Iran deal calls and pinned the market near 7562. Then the flip came — puts were bought as a hedge while $1.4B in buy orders showed up at the close. That negative Vol GEX wasn’t bearish conviction. It was protection on a massive long position going into a 4-day weekend with the Iran deal signing Friday. The MOC told the truth: Chips led the buy side. AMZN led the sell side. Tomorrow, watch the Vol Trigger. The chips are in charge. #ES_F #SPX #SPY #QQQ #NQ_F #OptionsFlow #GammaExposure #GEX #Volatility #MarketProfile #OrderFlow #Semiconductors #NVDA #Trading

Morning Plan The 7600 wall is the real story this week. Gamma-by-strike shows 7600 as the biggest positive gamma level — nearly +12B. That makes it the main magnet into quad witching. The daily Call Wall at 7568 is just the first door. Early GEX is still choppy: Volume GEX: 4.22 OI GEX: 92.03 Big gap. That means structure is bullish, but early volume hasn’t confirmed yet. Watch 7550. Accept above = grind toward 7568 Reject = chop between 7488–7550 Also, the roll is already 37% complete. If you’re still trading ESM26, switch to ESU26. June liquidity is drying up. This week is about positioning, liquidity, and the 7600 magnet. $SPX #SPX $NDX #NDX #ES $ES #NQ $NQ #futurestrading #futureseducation #marketprofile

This is where Delta matters. Delta shows aggressive buying and selling pressure. But the edge is not just seeing pressure. The edge is seeing whether that pressure actually moves price. Strong buying with no follow-through? Potential trapped longs. Strong selling with no breakdown? Potential trapped shorts. Liquidity shows the location. Delta helps expose the behavior. Stop chasing candles. Start reading the auction.

Because that’s usually where price wants to go first. Liquidity is not hidden. It’s where everyone is watching. The problem is, most traders are staring at their target… while institutions are staring at their stops. “But how do I know which direction?”

Ever get stopped out right to the tick… only to watch price rip 100 points in your direction? That wasn’t “bad luck.” You just became liquidity. Most traders place stops exactly where everyone else places them: above obvious highs, below obvious lows, around clean chart levels. That’s where the trap begins. Stop putting your stop loss inside the liquidity pool. Start asking: “Where would everyone else’s stop be?”

See our daily trading plan at Deltagammavault.com HOURLY TRADING PLAN — #ES $ES Pre-Market (8:00 - 9:30 AM ET) Current Setup: Trading around 7597, just below the 7600 major gamma level. Key Levels to Watch: 7612: Overnight high / Prior week zone — resistance 7600: Major positive gamma strike — pivot 7588-7592: Key zone / support cluster 7576: Low of overnight range Expectations: Beth Hammack speaks at 8:30 AM — watch for rate commentary volatility Pre-market likely to test 7600 level multiple times Bias: Slight weakness given overnight rejection, but positive gamma should contain moves Action: No trades pre-RTH. Monitor whether price can reclaim and hold above 7600. If holding below 7600 at 9:30, lean bearish for open. Opening Hour (9:30 - 10:30 AM ET) Scenario A — Bullish (price opens/holds above 7600): Look for a drive toward 7612-7618 (prior week zone) Target: 7623 (Combo 1) as first major resistance Stops: Below 7592 Scenario B — Bearish (price opens/trades below 7600): Initial target: 7588 key zone Secondary target: 7575-7572.50 (Vol Trigger / Zero Gamma) Stops: Above 7612 JOLTS at 10:00 AM: This is the key catalyst. A hot number could pressure equities (Fed stays hawkish), while a weak number could support risk assets. Opening Hour Strategy: First 15 minutes: OBSERVE ONLY — let opening range establish 9:45-10:00: Look for initial balance breakout trades if clear direction 10:00-10:30: Fade initial JOLTS reaction OR trade continuation if momentum is strong Mid-Morning (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM) Post-JOLTS Assessment: If JOLTS causes rally above 7612: This is a breakout of overnight highs Target 7623, then 7635 (key zone on profile) Use pullbacks to VWAP as entry opportunities Positive #gamma means rallies will be sold — don't chase If JOLTS causes drop below 7580: Testing the #volatility trigger at 7570 Critical decision point — hold of 7570 = bounce play Break of 7570 = negative gamma regime, target 7550, then 7515 Expected Behavior: Range-bound chop between 7588-7612 is most likely given positive gamma. Treasury announcements at 11:00-11:30 could provide secondary catalyst. #Bullish Scenario Setup: If holding above 7600 with higher lows Look for break above 7612-7618 for drive to 7635 7635 represents the key zone from the profile chart — major decision point Bearish Scenario Setup: If unable to reclaim 7600 and making lower highs Break below 7580 targets 7570 Vol Trigger Failure at 7570 opens door to 7550 (major negative gamma) Inflection Points: 2:00 PM: Often sees directional moves begin Watch NYSE TICK and cumulative delta for institutional positioning Power Hour (3:00 - 4:00 PM) Closing Scenarios: Scenario 1 — Bullish Close (target 7612-7625): Requires sustained buying above 7600 Would set up for potential gap-up Wednesday Watch for MOC imbalance buy signal Scenario 2 — Neutral Close (7590-7610): Most likely given positive gamma environment Consolidation day ahead of potential Wednesday catalyst Tomorrow's setup remains balanced Scenario 3 — #Bearish Close (below 7575): Would indicate failed test of highs, distribution occurring Closes below Vol Trigger = caution for further downside #Zerogamma breach = negative gamma regime Wednesday
