@intrvrtdintrvrt i think a lot of it is exaggerated (esp refractory periods lol), but some people do have pretty high sex drives. my boyf and i are both on ssris so maybe i'm a bad comparison tho 🤷‍♂️

i read things with smut quite often but there's one thing I can't wrap my head around like do people really need sex that much or is it just exaggerated for story reasons

@thintechgodhead imaging could help, but there are common bloodwork changes also - obviously the sex hormone stuff is probably moot point, but things like insulin resistance and high cholesterol could increase your suspicion and make it more worthwhile to chase down answers with your doc.

can we talk about how PCOS/PMOS is basically impossible to diagnose in trans men because we are already hairy and T stops periods. or does being on T solve the issues there

@luv1bun understand walking close behind someone, or walking quietly so you accidentally sneak up on them, will always be scary. if you really want to be less scary, be more visible: light-reflective aspects on clothes, put your keys on a carabiner and let them make noise while you walk.

@AlVukad @Lacksicle it's more that there is a threshold - based on genetics - of how your body will look. somewhere in every single person's genes is coding for breast size (and facial hair, etc) that will respond to the right amount of hormones. but more hormones doesn't increase that.

Saw my family for mother's day yesterday, my mother has had a boob job and my sister jokingly said her and I both have fake boobs. I said "What? No I don't", and they were shocked that my chest was real. People really are very uninformed about hrt and the trans experience
