Jones is right to ask for a meeting where Talarico makes *SPECIFIC* commitments to Black American Texans.
This is how politics has always worked & it doesn’t empower Republicans.
As a matter of fact, a commitment to a Black agenda would help with Black voter turnout. You’re doing Talarico a disservice.

@Black_Action @Al_B_Done This 👇🏾👀 is why the T-word is becoming more popular. They have no shame nor anything else of their own making they can latch onto. Just disgusting 🤮

When I say we are the main character, I mean we *ARE* the main character.
People all over the globe are thoroughly invested in & attentive to everything we do—from culture, to politics, to tourism.
Because why is this Mexican accusing us of benefiting from imperialism? They’re all obsessed with ADOS. It’s a sustained fixation.

I’M A REAL AMERICAN N*GGA@PayMyMfnPhone
“Black Americans are still benefiting from western imperialism” = Black Americans should not be living more comfortable than I am. They should share the conditions of the Black people in my country in order for me to see them as truly oppressed.

No work better articulated the birth of the Harlem Renaissance quite like the 1925 publication of “The New Negro: An Interpretation,” by philosopher Alain Locke.
It’s also one of the 25 most influential works of American culture. See the rest: wapo.st/4feWf5q

"LED Bulbs are the Tobacco of today's world in terms of problems with our health"
New podcast with @DrMooreEde on the link between LED bulbs and cancer, particularly breast & prostate cancer.
We're flooded with LED bulbs indoors & they're harming our health.
1. They spike in blue light, with none of the healthy red, infrared, and full-spectrum light we get from the sun.
2. At night, they suppress melatonin which is a powerful antioxidant and repair signal.
We discuss:
- The link between LED bulbs & cancer, heart disease
- How even the blue in LED is the wrong type
- How people who got more sun lived the longest
- Why to never wear sunglasses in the morning
We unpack a lot more on how lighting is impacting our health. Dr. Moore-Ede discovered the SCN, the master circadian clock, and is the author of the book The Light Doctor.
