They forgot to mention the “opioid free society”. If adults can choose to smoke/vape, drink alcohol, gamble, etc…they should also be able to choose to use safe, legal, FDA-approved opioids. To quote the video, “When politicians decide they almost always make things worse”.

@TTExulansic My first dog died after a long illness. The entire rhythm of my life was disrupted. I couldn't function. I needed to fall into a familiar rhythm to get thru the grief and get a new groove, so I went to a monastery for 6 days. It will take time, but you'll find a new rhythm.

A productive meeting with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic @AndrejBabis. We discussed in detail the bilateral areas of our relations – there is real potential to deepen our cooperation. We also separately discussed the European track and the next steps on Ukraine’s path to membership in the European Union.
I thank the entire Czech people for their tremendous and heartfelt support for Ukraine – we truly appreciate it.

During a meeting with Prime Minister of Finland @PetteriOrpo, I thanked him for Finland’s recent decision to allocate an additional $300 million in defense support for Ukraine. We sincerely appreciate this, and we discussed priority areas of our defense – particularly air defense – that can be strengthened with this package.
I proposed to the Prime Minister that we strengthen our bilateral partnership by signing an agreement in the format of the Drone Deal. Ukraine is ready to share its expertise and strengthen those who have been strengthening us since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion.
We also touched on international cooperation, particularly our European integration. There is now a good window of opportunity to open the negotiating clusters, and Ukraine fully deserves this. I thank Finland for its support.

Millions of pain patients are not 'addicts' (a rare condition and not caused by exposure to any drug including a can of beer) and have been on same doses of rx pain medications for years/decades with no increase necessary or taken. More mythology hysteria sensationalism.

If I were impaired, I wouldn't be contracted to work Provincially & Federally on some very high level initiatives. Note - the initiatives are high, not me. @SketchesbyBoze I was a kid in the 60's, and a victim of "New Math", which Time Magazine listed as one of the 100 Worst Ideas of the 20th Century. Sounds like "whole language" was its linguistic equivalent.

In the early 2000s, schools foolishly replaced phonics instruction (which is very effective at teaching kids to read) with something called “whole-language learning” (which is not). This method encourages kids to “guess” a word based on the first letters. It has been a disaster.

I think the scariest thing in that video of the high school kids trying to read that index card is that they can't sound words out, completely skip words they don't know, and bail entirely when they hit a word they don't know! I know how reading education changed but still sad!
