Over 16k non-sharp items viewed in 896 bin assessments across the 21 hospitals that participated. Those items didn’t need to be in sharps and should’ve been in other waste streams. Amazing work! @ANZCA #asm23syd

Current projects: Our very own @GordieBest is working with Dr. Smith and @maryhanna613 on a project to encourage patients to bring their own reusable bags and water bottles to their day surgery to reduce waste!
