@Dr_Stepheny A3: Mentors in other disciplines can bring a different perspective, whether it be around clinical practice or research or other topics. In addition, those mentors may have a more objective view if you are having difficulties with others in your own field. #AWSChat

A3: I have mentors both witin my field and in others. Some are better with things in my personal life; others are purely professional. Some about leadership. Some about clinical scenarios. Some about scholarship. Many overlap. No such thing as too many mentors. #AWSChat

Don't be afraid to be honest about your goals as a mentee. Better to determine up front if the mentor has the time and bandwidth to meet your goals!

With #COVID19 vaccine efficacy of ~95%, I'm looking forward to vaccine distribution in 2021 bringing the pandemic under control. However, I'm concerned that we'll see antigenic drift of SARS-CoV-2 and may need to update the strain used in the vaccine with some regularity. 1/18
