One of my favorite parts of the conference was introducing the speakers and introducing @inazarova was one of my favorite stories. She has been an absolute FORCE in the @rails community and it was such an honor to have her keynote @blastoffrails

Turns out I'm bored of building and trying AI tools, recipes, and all these harnesses. What I'm truly inspired to do is to use agentic development to build for humans. Going after things more ambitious than ever because otherwise - what's the point of all this?!

SaturnCI's "backlog" is a sheet of notebook paper. On it are hand-written bugs and changes.
Every week or so, as a matter of principle, I throw the list away, without finishing it, and try my best to forget what was on it.
Almost no one else works this way but they should.

Our bed & breakfast website used to live on some random webhosting server.
Last week I moved it onto my homelab. A tiny machine in my closet at home.
It brings back that '90s internet feeling. Back when the web was just people running their own little servers, hosting their own stuff, no Real Cloud™️ in between.
I know it's stupid, but it makes me happy.
