A family effort to ensure Bren had an amazing Mothers Day meal. Jalapeño poppers, Mac-n’-Cheese, smoked beef tenderloin and homemade pasta salad. I hope your mom ate as good as my kids’… Happy Mothers Day!

Had some left over crawfish from the weekend boil so…Crawfish étouffée it is. 🔥

Smoked chicken with cob corn and sliced taters…along with some front porch company and wobble Pops, not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

Made my Teriyaki Bourbon “Date Night Salmon” for supper this evening. Every time I make this, the question is asked, “Why don’t we have this more often?” So good! 🤤

@lady_valor_07 No. Tips are based on service provided. Nothing…NOTHING should be expected. Tipping is a mostly American concept. Most co tries consider it an insult. Waiting in a lot of countries is extremely competitive and profitable based on skill, not based on tips.

When your bride says “I would like Italian”, well, we don’t go to Olive Garden. (yes I like it too) I whip out my cook book and make homemade Shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine with cheesy garlic bread.

I mean…given the weather, who didn’t break out the big pot and make chili, a soup or a stew today…🤤

Who could resist the temptation to grill this evening? This feller couldn’t. Charcoal grilled some pork chops while my sides chick Brenda made wild long grain rice and steamed broccoli & cauliflower to go with. The world may be burning, so you might as well cook with the fire.

Our traditional Happy New Year meal. Grilled rib-eye and lobster. This year with Potatoes Fondant, sautéd mushrooms & onions, and a Croissant.

Who doesn’t love chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with a good white pepper gravy served with corn and rolls?

“Sobelman” style burgers for supper this evening. 1/3 pound of beef, bacon, Swiss, cheddar and American cheeses with sautéd onions and jalapeños on a toasted Kaiser roll.

Another plus to cooler weather…chili dogs. 🌭🤤
