I can confirm this. I have been on this train since 7:55 from Liverpool Central and this is the view... Engineers are here but we have no more updates yet from @merseyrail

@merseyrail Sally, honestly, they aren’t. I’m on the phone to my daughter and have checked her tracker and they are between Hightown and Formby. A child with a medical emergency has been taken off the train and put on an ambulance. They’ve been there since about 8.30.
